I have heavier ankles, but usually have no problem with ankle straps being too tight. Once zipped up, the ankle straps were very uncomfortable and I was afraid they would break. Should have used an elastic fabric and cord for the beads. Also, I ordered a size up and found that the length was appropriate, but those ankle straps were painful. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super comfy and beautiful sandals *by P***9 on July 5, 2019* These shoes are incredibly comfortable and they look great. They've put some kind of squishy material in the soles, so it feels like you're walking around on pillows all the time. They're quite versatile, as well, and can be worn with lots of different outfits. The tread is also very sturdy and provides excellent grip. The one minor issue I have with them is that you can kind of see where they've glued some of the fabric to the sole of the shoe, but after wearing them a bunch, I stopped noticing/caring about that. Overall, an excellent and extremely comfortable pair of sandals! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Quality Control Issue *by C***E on July 25, 2019* Cute sandal but a blob of black, looks like thread, is on the top beaded portion of the sandal. It can't be removed. Therefore the sandal is defective and someone should have noticed prior to shipment. I'm not returning because I already discarded the packaging. The blob of black takes away from the pretty beaded design.
