Amazing pen, great price
I've always thought the Parker Jotter was the best bang for the buck, but now that I got this Lamy Logo M+ ballpoint, I feel like the Jotter has a new challenger to the throne. The Logo has both girth and a decent weight. The main body of the pen is a hard plastic, so unlike those heavy pens, you can write for a long time without your hand cramping up. In addition, the grip of the pen is very grippy but not overly noticeable so it doesn't feel "funny". The click mechanism is solid and just feels like it has a lot of quality in it. The clip is spring loaded, so it's easy to slip into all sorts of pockets. You can actually press the top of the clip in which acts as a lever to raise the clip so you don't have to just push down on a pocket sleeve. The refill is easily accessible by twisting the nib section off at the bottom, and no springs or hidden parts fall out - just the refill for easy replacement.I got the black one, it's a nice standard color that can be used in all sorts of situations. I intend to start using this pen as my everyday carrying pen. I imagine the refill will last a while too, but if it doesn't, I'll be buying a few through Amazon to ensure I always have ink for this pen on hand (I don't think they sell these refills in most brick & mortar stores since they seem to focus on pens popular in the US such as Cross or Parker and maybe Waterman or Montblanc). The only thing that has me rubbing my chin is the logo itself. The Lamy name is on the other side of the clip facing the clip, so for a righty, you really can't see it while writing. Not that it matters, but it just feels "off" to me. I'm used to pens putting their logos either along the center horizontally or on the left side of the clip facing away from the clip along the vertical axis. Again, this is no big deal, but it just feels like it was put in an awkward location.Overall, I've used it all day since it came in, and I feel like it can easily be a go-to pen for work, notes, and whatever else I may need it for throughout the day. The hard plastic is glossy, sturdy, and grippy, and the pen seems to get everything else correct from the refilling process to the clicking mechanism to the spring-loaded clip. I highly recommend it based on my usage so far.

Best ball point pen I have ever used... bar none.
I've used my fair share of writing implements, and while I pride myself on being a mechanical pencil fanatic, sometimes you just need a pen. I've used a hundred or more types, in all price ranges, and I can say honestly that this is the best ball point I've ever had the pleasure of using.Lamy produces these gems in Germany of all places, not China like the junk that litters most of the retail stores these days. Beyond that, even if you compare to some of the nicer Japanese made ball points, this one still feels superbly smooth in the hand, and the build quality is simply top notch. It is a true joy to write with, having both heft and balance, not to mention the most gratifying "click" of any retractable ball point that I've ever used. After scooping one of these up at the airport in Copenhagen, I realized I had to get a few more and was delighted to find them on Amazon. No, they're not inexpensive, but I have zero regrets about the money spent and would gladly pay twice the price if I had to.

Great quality pen for the money.
For a plastic pen, it feels solid and has a nice quality feel to it. IMO the Lamy ballpoint pens write performance is one of the best out there - equal if not superior to Cross ballpoints. The only complaint I have with Lamy is that their pens are only supplied in black, it would be nice if they would have an option to choose blue to come with the new pen.

Great pen, but get the metal one.
I really liked this pen.tl;drThe pen broke because it's plastic, get the metal one instead. This pen is a great everyday writer with a very solid feel in the plastic and metal parts. The mechanism is amazing, probably the best one I have felt out of a pen. Looking at the mechanism itself, it's made of plastic, yet very robust. None of the pieces had wear on it, except for the outer part. The weight is nice, and it felt pretty good to write with. However, the refills are not Lamy's best effort, so it would skip sometimes, and it would take a bit of scratching to get it writing when you left it alone too long. Despite this, it was a very smooth writer when it was working. The ink itself is not the best ever either, and it doesn't seem consistent with the darkness. Now, for main gripe. The body is plastic, which I have no problem with at all. But, that is where the downfall lies. Where the mechanism slots in has a short plastic bridge to separate it from the slot the clip moves in and out of when you actuate it. Sadly, this bridge broke in half, causing the clip it slots into to no longer be secured properly. That means that if you click the pen and let it return too hard, the whole thing shoots out the top. This is obviously a major issue which I am very disappointed in. It will still work, but I have to be really careful to not let it pop out. Because of this weak point in the design, I will get the metal logo where that will essentially never happen.Despite that, it was a great ballpoint with the best mechanism I have ever used, but don't take my word on that. Four stars for being a good pen, but minus two for the material problems.

Excellent, handsome pen for the money but with no refill
Nice pen and color. Well worth the price. But it is promised with a refill enclosed and it was not with the pen! Amazon customer service, very top notch, replaced my pen with one sent that was supposed to have a refill. Again, no refill enclosed! Please change the product description, LAMY, if a refill is not meant be enclosed! Otherwise, solid value as a pen and nice looking design!

Great writing instrument
I am a pen junkie. I discovered the Lamy brand in an airport in Germany. I purchased two out of necessity and have since ordered three more. Thanks to Amazon for carrying this brand! This pen is well balanced, feel great in the hand and writes beautifully. The Logo M+ has become my favorite pen.
