Foodscaping: Practical and Innovative Ways to Create an Edible Landscape

I am disappointed. I expected from the title that there would be quite a few pictures of food scaped gardens, to give you ideas how to create a to the eye pleasing edible garden. And this is not the case.There are a few photos of landscaped areas, but they are only small areas, just parts taken pictures of, so not really larger areas, an overview, so you can get an idea and also an impression how it could look like.I still gave it four stars because it has good photos of single plants, and a good description about each plant and what are good companion plants. There are also good general garden tips.But gardening tips and photos and info about plants I have already in abundance in other gardening books.I purchased this book particularly because of the title and what I expected to be in a book with that title.When you want good photos and good info about a lot of edible plants, one by one, then buy the book and you will not be disappointed. But when you want pictures of edible gardens which also look great, get ideas how to do it, then maybe look somewhere else.I hope this review helps to get a better idea what the book is about.

Some reviewers said that they didn’t think that this book had enough pictures. I disagree. I thought it was a wonderful book and has given me a lot of great ideas about how to plan my landscaping to include more edibles.

Well written well organized sized, easy to apply ideas. Excellent photos and Latin names make identification easy. 1 to 1 swap out options from decorative to edible plants us were helpful.

Lots of good, practical information. While this includes some basic gardening knowledge, it assumes that you are primarily building on some know-how to include more food.

I LOVE this book and enjoy sharing it with friends and family!!Charlie Nardozzi does a great job of taking edible landscaping to the next level of Foodscaping. This book is thoughtful written, easy to read and even more importantly easy to apply to ANY size yard!! I would recommend this book to everyone who wants to achieve a beautiful year while also cultivating food for their kitchens. Absolutely terrific book!!!
