Q: Can the nibs be swapped out without buying a whole new feed system? If so, what size nib?

Pretty sure you have to buy a complete nib and feed system that just screws in.It can probably be Messed with and done but I Personally would not want to do it.

So far my pen hasn't faded, but I have a number of pens (both FP and rollerballs) and I use different ones every day. If I were using this pen every day, maybe fading would be an issue. It is an attractive pen, however.

No, the pocket clip on my Wanderlust Malta is rock solid as I would expect of any quality pen. I fear you have a defective or damaged pen cap/pocket clip. Sorry for the bad news.

8513 only works in the twist ballpoint Cross pens. They make a jumbo refill that has casing as large as 8523 with ballpoint option. I don’t know that refill number, but you should be able to find it! 😀
