Bought this for a 1997 Chev K1500 with a 5.7L (350 cid). Short box, 4wd. Previous owners had already cut a hole in the bed so it was reasonably easy for me to put this in. Works great, plenty of fuel now, fit exactly. You really should order a new locking ring with this, I did beat my old one up pretty bad by the time I got all that gravel & trash out of the well it sits in.

fuel level sender failed after 6 months
The product worked as designed, fit correctly, and was easy to install, however, after 6 months the fuel level sensor has failed and registers 1/2 to 1/4 of a tank when full and empty when at 3/4 and below. amazon's website is making it difficult to contact the seller so I have to resort to leaving a negative review.
