I ordered this Pirate outfit for a company party we are going to in May. I also ordered another pirate outfit as I couldn't decide between the two. I have decided to keep the other outfit and return this one but mainly because the other outfit matches the outfit I bought for my husband. However, this costume is very nice, much nicer than I expected! It is a one piece dress and very pretty. The blouse part covering the shoulders and arms is see through lace and can be worn on the shoulder or pulled down on the arms. If you were to wear a bra with it the straps would show but white straps may not be as obvious.I typically wear a size 12 so I ordered the large and it fits well. The length is appropriate and not too short. The material is thin but for a costume, I think it is good quality. The bodice is made with a velvet type of material.This is a very cute costume and would look very nice with sexy boots. I feel it is very good quality for the price. I think you will be happy with this purchase!

This was SUPER good. It was a good fit, the corset is truly adjustable, it's really cute, I got a ton of compliments, but don't forget about the accessories or you could look like a wench instead of a pirate. I am definitely going to be wearing this to RennFest next year, and the year after and the year after lol... One thing I did notice though was that there was a tiny tear in the fabric on the corset- I think I did it by accident, but it seems like it might be a bit thin? But I'm not sure. I really liked it though. I am a size 12, and my bust is bigger than most, and so it was important to me that my chest wasn't all sorts of hanging out, and the corset was really fine.

Needed for a last minute Renaissance Faire and it's great for the price. Fits fairly true-to-size (maybe a little big if you have a smaller chest), doesn't feel super cheap to the touch, and I got it overnight.

Awesome costume. Fits well, lots of complements.Update: I’ve had this costume for several years now, and it still looks great! After a wash or two the skirt part becomes short because the fabric curls up on the ends. I bought a lacy slip/petticoat in ivory (on Amazon) and I feel much more comfortable that it’s not too short. You could also wear leggings instead if it gets too short. But it’a still a very cute and flattering costume!

You get what you pay for! It was a good quick costume. A bit scratchy, but simple. Nothing particularly stands out about it one way or another!

This is a nice roomy dress, yet it is not droopy. It will accommodate a pretty good range in sizes, probably from about size 8 to size 12, and maybe a little beyond if you don't mind it being snug. The bodice can be adjusted with the laces. The lace sleeves are off the shoulder, as stated in the description. The material is soft and flowy. The lace might be a little delicate for the wash machine, but I think it will definitely last through hand washing, and possibly the delicate cycle. This is a really cute look that is great for all ages, not too sexy, not at all dowdy.

During Halloween Night, I was an ugly, old witch with green face, ugly nose and chin and this costume was perfect for it. My mistake: I ordered a XL on girls size and did not pay attention to it; thinking I ordered a woman size. Lucky the skirt was with an elastic waist band an top fit too. Belt did not since it was a girl and not woman size. Had lots of fun with this costume. Folks loved it.

I just received this costume (a day earlier than estimated, awesome) and overall I'm pleased with it. It seems to be decent quality for the price, and it fits me well. I wear an XL, the measurements were just right and I'd say it fits perfectly. I like that you can wear this costume in many different ways - it could be a pirate outfit or you could use it as a general medieval/wench costume, a fairy costume, gypsy, lots of possibilities just depends on how you accessorize. I'll be wearing this paired with a long brown skirt underneath - to me more of a traditional wench look rather than sexy/flirty, but it definitely works both ways. I recommend wearing it with fishnet tights or leggings and boots. The only reason I gave it four stars is because it's a costume in a bag - not a super high quality item so may not hold up well over time and you can see the elastic around the neckline. But, for the price including free shipping and not having to shop for it, I'd call it a win.
