3/4 Inch Dia 3:1 Waterproof Heat Shrink Tubing, 4ft, 2 Pcs, Black/Red

Review is for 3/4 inch This is not the cheep thin stuff. It shrunk tight on the 2 gage wire and lug. Some glue came out the ends and sealed well.

This is a good product. The reason I say "mostly as advertised" is because the (Red and Black) tubing I purchased was advertised at 1/2" in diameter, but the Red tubing was a bit larger. The diameter of the Black tubing was dead on as advertised but the Red tubing was 0.11" (2.7mm) larger than 1/2" (I measured the tubing with an outside micrometer). However, since this tubing has a (higher than usual) 3:1 shrink ratio the slightly larger diameter of the Red tubing did NOT cause any problem for the project on which I used it (the only reason I mentioned this is because the slightly larger Red tubing "might" affect others who may need a precise 1/2" size). Even with this minor hiccup, I still gave this shrink tubing 5 Stars. It did shrink 3:1 which allowed me to replace two other sizes (1/2" and 3/8" with 2:1 shrink ratios) with this single size. Additionally, the marine glue/adhesive worked exactly like the picture showed. I did, however, notice that a number of other reviews mentioned that the tubing they received was not the diameter advertised. So the seller needs to address/correct this. I would definitely purchase this shrinkable tubing again.

I have had better for the price not so bad the red like some coloration but for general purpose for the price point I would have to say not too bad.

Good Shrinkage

Great for use on ropes to secure loose ends. Easy to use and makes a waterproof connection. Looks good in use.

Works for our purpose. We bought it for unconventional use and have it wrapping patio fencing connections. The fencing has these metal covers to use but this heat shrink hides the connection entirely and seals it.

I was just looking for a quick roll of red & black shrink tubing to finish off some power cables for my solar installations and snagged these without really looking. I was VERY pleasantly surprised when I put them to use and saw the clear substance like hot-glue-gun glue form a very thin ring at the ends of the connection's tubing. I looked at the inside of an unused section and realized that was effectively what it was! These seal really, really well, forming what I would expect to be a water-tight and very reliable finishing-touch to your custom cable making. Very happy I discovered this stuff, I didn't even know before this that such a hybrid shrink tubing existed. I will definitely be buying more of this stuff! I'd give it 6 stars if I could :)

This did what was stated. It took a little bit more heat to get it to start shrinking. Be careful of what you are trying to cover with this shrink. Other than that it did the job for me just fine.

Great customer service product was as advertised and had a personalized note. It gave the feeling that I was in a small shop purchasing. The product was nice for a change.

I am really impressed with the quality of this thing! The addition of glue to seal the entire thing is genius. It shrinks evenly and also it has a good thickness! You won't be afraid to tear it apart like some other brands. Love it!
