Good Info in Easy to understand format
Having going back to school as an adult I was worried about having to read boring textbooks. This textbook was easy to follow and full of excellent information. Highly recommend as a guide to Sports Nutrition.

While this textbook provides interesting and invaluable information, I am extremely disappointed with this textbook because there are SO MANY mistakes in every chapter. There are many typos, mistakes in graphs, tables and figures, as well as incorrect information (as pointed out by my professor). Not only this, the references online don't even match up with the footnotes in the chapters! Never have Ibought a textbook that has mistakes in every chapter. I would hope that there are at least corrections for this textbook. I would have to say the amount of money for the amount of mistakes is not worth it and I would not recommend buying this. Aside from the plethora of typos, mistakes, and incorrect information, I find that the diagrams and pictures are amateurish at best. It does not look professional like you would have assumed based on the cover of the text. I also find the lay out of the chapters hard to follow and unorganized. This definitely needs to be reworked in addition to all the mistakes. I really expected more from a book that has several previous editions. Don't buy this textbook!

Great book, the new edition conferm excellent content. I want the e-book version, because it is a very heavy text.
