Review: Great low budget choice that ticks all the boxes - Sturdy, secure and comfortable goggles that should keep you safe on a variety of DIY products. No chance of losing them given the bright yellow and black design. I found visibility to be good, the glasses to be lightweight and comfortable even after prolonged use. No indication of fogging up but I did create a puddle of sweat - which shows the seal is good for keeping out dust and debris.
Review: I can see clearly now... - Over the years I have purchased many pairs of work goggles. Well, actually only two pairs to be honest. However, the point is that my previous pairs were, I will admit, cheapo ones and disappointing. I have always found work goggles to be somewhat uncomfortable, mist up a lot when my work energy levels are at fever-pitch, and frankly, as a result of that, I have done jobs where I should really have worn goggles but declined because of their frailties. Along come these DeWalt goggles: I had a couple of dirty jobs lurking on my to-do list and decided to invest a few more pennies than usual on some new goggles. I saw these DeWalts and the reviews seemed very good. I never thought that I would be adding myself to the list of reviewers -- after all, they are only goggles! They arrived yesterday, I did the mucky job wearing them yesterday, and I am sat here at a ridiculously early hour today writing a review about them. They are brilliant. I don't wear spectacles normally and so find that kind of furniture sitting on my face to be a bit strange but I can honestly say that on several occasions during the two hours I wore the DeWalts for, I actually forgot I was wearing a pair of goggles. They are SO comfortable it's quite amazing. Here's a list of the good things: 1) They are supremely comfortable considering the function they have to perform. 2) They are very solidly made - but lightweight too. 3) The vision from them is frankly flawless and I think this is one of the main reasons you can easily forget they are strapped to your head. Not sure if it's the very curved shape of the lens, or just the quality of the lens but I had no noticeable reflections or visual hindrances at all. 4) There was no misting up at any point during my fervent activities. 5) They stayed in place. 6) The yellow part is nice and soft and sits very gently against the face. 7) My wife wears spectacles and found that the DeWalt goggles sat completely over them and fitted her just as well as they fitted me (which has to be a design achievement, as we are very different physically). 8) They make you feel very protected but with minimal discomfort. 9) They are a little more expensive than some other goggles -- but I feel still represent very good value for money. I wouldn't want to go shopping in Tesco in them, or take my wife out for a meal wearing them (me - not my wife!) as they, in my humble opinion, don't enhance my good looks. But I would definitely award them 10 out of 10... or 5 out of 5 as desertcart star ratings permit! If you want a pair of work goggles that perform very well then I hope that my experience with these goggles puts them on your "Goggle Consideration List".

Sturdy, secure and comfortable goggles that should keep you safe on a variety of DIY products. No chance of losing them given the bright yellow and black design. I found visibility to be good, the glasses to be lightweight and comfortable even after prolonged use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reasonable basic Safety Glasses

Only used these safety glasses a couple of times so far (for strimming and sawing up firewood), so time will tell if the lenses are scratch resistant enough to last. Pros: - They are comfortable enough and contoured to fit around the face well. - Lenses are clear and distortion free with fairly good coverage. Cons: - The lenses can fog up a bit (initially) when they're cold as they do sit close to the face. - (IMO) The vertical coverage could stand to be slightly taller. There's a slight gap underneath (on my face at least) which caused me slight concern (whilst strimming). Although I doubt that any debris would actually reach the eye, the reassurance of slightly taller coverage would be nice. -- [TBF perhaps goggles would be better for strimming / chainsaw work!] As with all glasses it often comes down to the individual's face as to how effective and comfortable these are. I personally find them adequate for my (occasional) needs, and for the money I am very happy with them.
