Could you fill the bottom with sand rather than water? Could you use foam footballs instead of the blow up?

Hello- This product is designed to stay in place with just water, as well as thoroughly quality tested to ensure the weight is enough to hold the base in place. Also, filling it with water allows for easier portability, as it is easier to remove. We do not recommend filling it with sand but you may do so at your own risk. Please know that any damage due to the base being filled by sand is not covered by our warranty. Yes, foam footballs may be used with this game. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
