I don't know if the capsules broke in shipping or beforehand, but I would not buy these green tea pills online again. More than half of the capsules were broken before I even opened the bottle. That's never happened to me with in-store purchases of this or any other brand. I paid good money for a bottle of broken pills and green tea dust. The dust tastes very bitter. Seeing as it coated all the capsules that didn't break, even the intact pills were bitter pills to swallow.

About half were open inside the container so have been having to scoop out with spoon

All of the capsules inside are busted open so you just have a jar full of powder and busted capsules.

I’ve purchased 3 bottles of this product over the last few months.In each bottle there’s been at least 1 or 2 pills that were broken because the pills themselves are so brittle- I take a lot of pills (meds & supplements) & I’ve never come across pills this brittle.This last bottle has been the worst, & the last I’ll be buying, with 4 broken pills in it & a mess of red staining powder at the bottom of the bottle.There are other green tea pills that are more effective & that won’t waste my money with unusable product- at similar prices, too.I’ll be buying those from now on!
