Just a gentle reminder....
Received my Flexguard Support back brace in a timely manner. Please allow me to address a few of the reviews I read before making my purchase.1) "It had a rubbery smell." Of course it does. A brand new neoprene product should have a "rubbery smell." IT'S NEW. If it didn't smell, I'd suspect I'd received a returned item.2) "It's uncomfortable." Actually, it's not uncomfortable. Adjust the straps and waist belt correctly, then sit and/or stand using correct posture and you'll hardly notice it's there. The most likely reason I can think of for the brace to be uncomfortable is that the wearer is still using poor posture. The brace isn't magic. It can't correct years of poor posture simply by putting it on. The wearer must supply the effort needed to correct their own posture. As soft and pliable as the brace is, it can only be a gentle reminder of correction needed. Now, as far as my own usage is concerned. My only comment, and reason for the 4 vs 5 star rating, is that it would have been better (for me, at least) if the belt portion was wider. That's it. I'm a happy customer.Thank you. (And no, I was NOT compensated for this review.)

Uncomfortable and doesn't work.
I was very excited for this product as I've had bad posture for a long time now. Upon reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. I usually tend to stick my belly outwards plus a hunchback posture, awful, I know.I ordered on Thursday and it just arrived today, through prime. As soon as I took it out of the package, it felt like a very good product, smooth and good quality. But after putting it on and adjusting the straps, I found some issues:1. The buckle stays right underneath my armpit. Extremely painful and uncomfortable. If you have adjustable straps, maybe consider placing the buckle somewhere that won't ever touch the armpit cuz it hurts.2. Even after tightening it to the maximum both on the shoulders and on the stomach part, I am still able to stay on a bad posture. It doesn't really pull my shoulders back or prevent me from leaning forward either with my shoulders or my belly.I'm returning this and will look for something else that might be more useful and less painful.

Broken skin underarm areas
This brace is great. However, it is very discomfort when wearing. It doesn’t have good pad underarm area. It’s rubbing against your skin which cause skin rash and broken skin and could end up can not continue to wear. The first time I tried immediate after I received the package with my shirt on, it feels hurting along the underarm area. I tried on about 5 minutes my skin become red. If I’d continue wearing, I’m sure my skin will be broken. If this brace has some kinds of soft and comfortable pads to support the underarm area then would be a great brace. I would not recommend anyone to buy this. You will be disappointed and will be returning this brace like myself. I hope this will help you in decision of buying the brace.

Very Helpful :)
This really helps my posture throughout the day. I work from home so I'm always slouching in front of the computer and have felt lots of back pain lately. This keeps my shoulders pulled back and my back straight which is exactly what I need.

Good sleep, exercise
There's a lot of things that you should be doing to reduce back pain. Good sleep, exercise, stretching, diet....that's all well and good but for some of us we are still sitting 10+ hours everyday for work. Nothing ventured nothing gained, I ordered the brace to see if it could help reduce my back pain. Does it work though? In short, yes It took about 2 weeks for me to notice an improvement. If this is correcting poor posture, what causes it? I knew before ordering that I wasn't in peak physical shape and that diet and exercise would probably reduce if not eliminate the pain. But I'm still doing a sitting marathon everyday at work. Sitting for that long has be hard on the body regardless of how fit you are. In my opinion if you are sitting for 8-10+ hours a day, even if you are in excellent shape, you can still benefit from a back brace like this. Again, just my opinion. I'm not a medical professional, just making observations based on experience and my own research. My only complaint, which I think is worth knocking off a star for, is the sizes. I am just over 190 and got the XL...it's a bit too large. Please make a size inbetween L and XL..maybe between 170 and 200?

not great for a small woman
I wanted to love this brace. When the straps are all the way tightened there is a buckle that sits directly under your arm pit. It digs in to your skin and hurts so bad that I couldn't wear it. I even tried wearing it over a sweatshirt to provide some protection. That didn't work. When I loosened the straps and moved the buckle it didn't dig in anymore, it also did nothing to help with my posture. So i'm sending it back. I'm a size xs to small woman. I think this would work great for someone bigger than me.

Not Sufficient Upper Back / Shoulder Support
I wish I liked this product. The seller went above and beyond to create a positive experience, but this posture brace is not for me. The primary support seems to be thick elastic bands which cut into my arms. I purchased a different lower back support that is very helpful ... stays, easy velcro adjustment. I need something similar for upper back and rotator injury, posture reminder and support. This did not work out.
