Looks good and is sturdy but the doors are shiny plastic and didn't care for that.

Decoratively Accentuating
This console was styled with a pair of ladder bookshelves that accentuates a pleasingly not too feminine decor. It softens all the straight lines. Assembly was fairly easy. There are three doors to this unit. In order that the doors fit and work properly, all parts must be properly aligned, if not, the doors will not fit properly. The middle door is a swing door that swings forward set on tracks that extend to the back of this unit. I would delay tacking on the back panel til the middle swing door is completely set in place. After the unit was completely assembled and all the doors set in place, when I attempted to move the unit, the middle swing door fell off its tracks. The only way I could reinstall the door was through the back of the unit turning the door diagonally til it realigned with the tracks, pushing it forward on the tracks. That was the most frustrating part of the assembly. The inserts that stop the door from swinging backwards can be easily removed and reinserted behind the door once the door is in place. I noticed that one side of the unit was just slightly off alignment that caused the door to fall out of place when I attempted to move the unit, which had to be securely flush and aligned with the the rest of the unit. Making sure that all parts were securely flush and aligned with each other, the swing door stayed in place when reinstalled.

I've had this same TV stand since 2016!
Took some time to assemble but it is SUPER super sturdy. Holds up really really well it still looks brand new when I clean it. No fading or anything.Lastly... it actually will fit a 55' tv because that's what I have on it now.

Mixed Results: Damage, Missing Parts, Bad Directions, Deceptive Product Description... But the Result is OK. Weird, I know...
There are a few things about this item that, had I known before ordering, I wouldn't have ordered it.1. It has no "feet". The bottom of the unit, a flat piece of particle board with a laminate finish, sits flat on the floor. I put 6 adhesive-backed felt-bottom feet on it to protect my laminate flooring. Just be aware that this is the case, and plan accordingly.2. The two doors that appear to be translucent glass in the picture? Well, never mind that. They're a brittle molded plastic that is completely opaque. So forget about using your remote for equipment you store in those compartments. And be really, really careful with the doors. NOT kidproof.3. There are parts present that aren't described in the directions, notably extra stops for the center door. The holes for them are in the drawings; they just are never mentioned. There are parts depicted in the directions that aren't there, notably 2 extra nails for attaching the backing. There are holes for 4 across, not 6 as pictured.4. Warning: fingerprint apocalypse incoming. This thing is very prone to ugly smudges appearing at the slightest touch. I recommend wearing white gloves during assembly. Not joking here.5. On the unit I received, one of the assembly cams was missing. So be sure to check not only the bagged parts, but the ones that come pre-installed.6. Damage. Whoo, boy. This is my second try on this one. Fedex refused to take the first one they sent, because it was clearly already damaged. The second one was also damaged. The box had rips and tears in it, and there was very slight damage to two of the horizontal panels. Obviously the package is heavy (nearly 54 lbs) and had "team lift" stickers on it. But when has that ever meant anything to carriers? One truck, one guy. The result is a lot of rough handling along the way, and you know that it doesn't take much to completely ruin something, especially fiberboard. My next purchase is a to be a TV... and now I'm not so sure I want to take a chance on trusting them to get it to me without damage. Way to go, Amazon Prime. Amazon was not at fault, and the return was handled very smoothly. But if the knuckle-draggers and their managers can't be trusted, that goodwill is squandered. In spite of all of this, it looks okay and will serve its purpose. One final caveat: NEVER PICK THIS THING UP OR MOVE IT BY THE TOP SHELF. It's attached with plastic screw-on caps, nothing else. It will break easily, especially if there is anything at all in the cabinets. Caveat Emptor, okay?

Inexpensive and looks nice.
We have a 44" tv. It's a nice looking and sturdy TV console. The doors are very easy to open and close and don't drag on the frame. Glue the metal stoppers into the slots for the middle door. They fall out alot even if you're gentle. We opted not to screw the back board on because you have to drill new holes into the frame and I was concerned about splitting the wood. You could glue it on but our board chipped coming out of the box. I like this inexpensive furniture and if you don't care about plastic doors, it's a good buy.

Do not buy this product
The picture for this product on Amazon.com is misleading. It seems that the doors for the left right and center compartments at the bottom of the stand would be wood and glass, but its plastic and looks ugly. The wood quality is not good either. Compared to the mainstays corrugated wood stands, this one is a low quality wood, that chips off from the edges. The door for the center drawer draws up and slides inside on two slots, however the piece I received was defective and the slots were on the rear side instead of the front of the stand and I could not assemble it. The assembly instructions are vague, and it took me a lot of time to understand which piece goes where. Instead of having cam nuts, they have wooden chips that must be glued to into the various holes provided. I assembled the product half way through, and it took me around 2 hours to get there and finally found out that the slots were in the wrong direction. The thickness of the TV stand is not as much, so if you are planning to place the TV and a sound bar, speakers or a gaming console camera on it this is not the right product. Overall, the product lacks quality, elegance and finishing. I returned this product and bought a Mainstays TV Stand ([...]) for $79 which is just $12 dollars more than this TV stand but is very good in terms of elegance, space, assembly instructions and dimensions. I would not recommend this TV stand to anyone. Please do not buy the product.

Perfect tv stand
Perfect tv stand. Looks nice and fits in with decor. The doors at the bottom of the cabinet could have been a better quality but if not used too much it looks fine. It definitely serves its purpose.

Superb TV Stand!
This is a fantastic TV stand! I was apprehensive about buying online without seeing it in person, but it turned out to be quite lovely! It was very simple to put together, I did it all by myself with only a few tools (hammer, screw driver).Overall I would give it a 5/5 stars because it came right on time, looks exactly as it should, and was easy to put together.
