These are FANTASTIC!!! Small, easy to carry, you just pull up the handles and it pops up. A little tap on the top pushes it back down. It gives off quite bright lighting for a small package, it literally lit up an entire room. Can't recommend these enough, so happy with them, I'm buying more to keep around the house for the ever increasing scary power outages. Well done!

For years, I have had these little lanterns at my main house where my daughter and grandson live as well as at my apartment where I now live. These little lanterns just saw us through a hurricane and a 16-hour power outage. I was also able to use them to navigate the hallway and parking lot of my apartment complex in total darkness. Earlier this year, these little lanterns saw me through a 37-hour power outage from a very damaging storm. I am so grateful to have them. They are small, bright, easy to use (all you do is pull up), and easy to move about. Much easier to use than the propane camping lanterns my late husband used to use, and much safer! They are a total live saver.

I purchased these at the end of 2024 for our emergency kit, and this week they truly proved their value during a power outage. In the middle of cooking dinner, the power went out for about 1,500 homes. These lanterns completely saved the night. Because of them, we were able to continue cooking, play games, and even read books and magazines without any issues. They are battery operated, lightweight, and small in size, yet surprisingly powerful. They’re easy to carry or hang and provide much better visibility than candles. Whether you’re camping or preparing for emergencies, these lanterns are an excellent choice—affordable, bright, versatile, easy to use.

Good size and are bright. Like the lantern style for functionality. Very versatile. They do take a lot of batteries, at least this brand came with initial set. In our climate with power outages, rechargeable flashlight products are worthless so always looking for good battery operated products.

Great, light weight, dependable lanterns. Safety in times of power outages and use outdoors. Bright light and easy to move from place to place. It was a bonus to have it come with good batteries. I keep them in strategic places in my home and have given them as gifts.

I was housesitting for a 20 arce ranch and they have almost zero outside light. I’m so glad I got these. I’m a petite woman and these were so small and lightweight yet VERY bright! I don’t mind that these take batteries and are not rechargeable because I didn’t want to be caught if the power went out (which happens often out there) or wait for charging.

Very handy for stormy summer days. My family has been in the basement quite a few times these past months because of the weather. The lanterns are easy to carry and are bright enough to light up our "safe place" while we are taking cover.

I CAN recognize a battery when I see it and I know where the button is to turn my iPad on. ;-) And, oh. My. Word! I even know what "lol" means! Lol! I bought these lanterns for personal reasons and they have given my husband and I such a return gift that one simply cannot describe their value. About a year ago, a beloved friend told us that she found her youngest child trying to read a book late at night in her bed. Way past her bedtime. Struggling to hold a $1 flashlight with heavy, bulky batteries just wasn't working. I felt that a child should be able to proclaim in adulthood "when I was a child, I used to fool my parents and read my books after everyone had gone to bed!" Anyway, we ordered three of these Etekcity lanterns. One for her and one for each brother. So, everyone got a lantern. Miss Book Worm got to read in bed. Promote local literacy efforts? Check ✔️ End of story? Nope! One day I got a series of pics emailed to me. They were of a bunch of boys, sitting around a picnic table in the woods. In the pitch black dark of night. Scanning the pics, we realized it was a local scout troop that both of the boys belong to. The troop was all playing cards and there was a large and very bright circle of light coming from the center of the table that lit up the whole area! There in the center of the table was one of these small Etekcity lanterns. The boys had taken their lanterns on a camping trip and they had taken their pics to show us how bright they were! That's how bright the lanterns are that you can take clear pics after the sun goes down! So, we were pleased that the children found such happiness in using these lanterns. My husband and I decided to order some for ourselves. They are light in weight. Very useful for the two power related outages due to storms. The batteries last a long time. Like a week of frequent use? The lanterns are bright enough to read by. Bright enough to walk the dogs by. Two lanterns lit up a 50 ' room. My husband was impressed and he is an engineer. He even knows what an LED light is all about . . . Lol! ;-) If I didn't know anything about lanterns and wanted something very affordable and of good quality, I would want to find something like this. It is really, really a great lantern. Very pleased with purchase. Got a very nice note from company wanting to make sure we were happy with purchase. We were!

I bought these for my elderly parents in law during a power cut when they lost light, heating and cooking. Candles were too much of a fire hazard. Hopefully when they have another power cut these will help light each room. They have a compartment in the top to store the batteries when not needed which is very helpful and they close down to a very manageable size to store. They are metal and not plastic and so feel sturdy when unscrewing the battery compartment etc. I liked them so much I have ordered some for myself and now my mother wants some too.

These led lanterns are extremely good and I would highly recommend them. If you have a power cut and you want to use something for light quickly and conveniently then choose these led lanterns as they are very easy to use. The batteries are very easy to take out and replace if needed so the product is designed very well and each lantern provides more than enough light.
