Review: Great portable lantern! - These are FANTASTIC!!! Small, easy to carry, you just pull up the handles and it pops up. A little tap on the top pushes it back down. It gives off quite bright lighting for a small package, it literally lit up an entire room. They are small, bright, easy to use (all you do is pull up), and easy to move about. Much easier to use than the propane camping lanterns my late husband used to use, and much safer! A: Depending on the exact size of your room (12 x 18 = 180 sq ft) or if it is square, I would think that if you used 2 of these lanterns you would havemore than enough light to brighten up the entire room.  These lights are very bright.  Hope that helps

These are FANTASTIC!!! Small, easy to carry, you just pull up the handles and it pops up. A little tap on the top pushes it back down.
