Bargain Price for High Quality Product Bargain Price for Excellent Quality 3/4×1/8×48 inch aluminum alloy flat bar stock. This flat bar is made from a mix of 6062 and 6064 aluminum alloys. This is my second purchase of this great product. It has a myriad of uses. One thing I use it for is to repair collapsed pop-up canopy brace supports stays. This size is perfect to insert into the collapsed brace support stay and pop rivet into place. All of my other uses for this size flat bar stock are patent pending so I can’t tell you those uses.

I just purchased this item: aluminum flat bar 1" x 1/8" thick x 72" long. It looks very nice with a smooth anodized finish. It appears to be a fairly high-strength alloy. I would like to know what alloy and temper it is. ? Will the seller let me know???

A great buy and just at the right time!

Aluminum bar is my universal material for fabricating items in the basement shop and a supply is maintained in leftover lengths on the shelf. Ordered TWO pieces 4' long that weighed less than a pound each. The materials fine, as expected but ONE piece arrived in a box large enough for more than a dozen pieces. The next day, the second piece (1/8 x 3/4 x 48) arrived in a second box of the same size. I'm satisfied with the material ordered but even though, as a Prime member, the shipping was "free", eventually all costs must be covered in some way in the prices paid. Then, consider the cost of disposal of all that packaging material. Ordered item...5 stars. Cost control...not so much

Used it for a support strap for a wooden bench I made. Flexible enough to fit a mild curvature in the seat. Strong enough to support the wood slats.

Cut them up to hold down the solar panels I mounted on the roof of my skoolie conversion. Effective and aesthetically pleasing. Cheers!
