Rockabye Raffi Giraffe Rocker, One Size

Excellent product. : -) I bought this for my grand daughter on her first birthday. The quality was good and we were happy with that ... but, she was much too young. My son and wife put it away. They took it out this weekend ... my granddaughter is 19 month old and she loves it. She rocks and rocks and rocks while chanting "rocky, rocky..." She is steady enough on her feet to get on and off. This is a wonderful product and I would recommend it to others.

Everyone knows the alphabet song set to the tune of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star." We gave this as a gift and people looked at us goofy when it played the alphabet to another tune. Is this only for weird home-school kids? From preschool, to Sesame Street, to EVERYONE ELSE ON THE ENTIRE PLANET, everyone knows the actual melody to the song. This is confusing. Is it a royalties/copyright issue? Don't be stingy. Pay up!

Received this as a gift. It is cute, soft and comfortable to sit on. However... 1) there are 4 colored shapes "buttons" on the neck of the giraffe that should play a different song when pushed. Only 2 of the 4 buttons worked. And even those were difficult to push. Sometimes the music would randomly go off on its own with no one near it (scared the heck out of me the first time) 2) the front (giraffe head) doesn't seem very stable. Very easy to fall forward while rocking. 3) and finally, the biggest issue i had with this toy is the wooden base. The edges are extremely sharp, not smoothed out at all and potential painful if your little feet happen to be under them for any reason (i.e if your toddler is standing next to it playing with it and his feet happen to be under the rocker and he pushes down on the head of the giraffe or anything)

Looks great..son love sitting on it and rocking. Speakers could use an upgrade, however. The sound is pretty bad. Extremely small speaker and the volume is way too high (can't change volume either)

I LOVE this Rockabye Raffi Giraffe! I actually ordered a less expensive Giraffe on Amazon (Happy Trails Giraffe Plush Rocking Animal) and returned it due to poor construction, quality, damages upon receipt, etc. I am so happy I ended up with this one. Pros: It is low to the ground so you don't have to worry about little ones safety...BIG PLUS! It comes ready to go out of the box...no building necessary...another BIG PLUS! The colors are BEAUTIFUL...brown, blue, green, orange, cream...very well suited for a Nursery. The material is soft and the Giraffe seems well built with quality construction. I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that this is MADE IN THE USA! Con: the price was a bit high on Amazon (with PRIME) compared to other sites (about $20 dollars more!), but I wanted the assurance to return had it arrived damaged, or not as described, and I didn't want a hassle and PRIME is hassle free! FYI, other reviewers report problems with the audio/music. It certainly isn't the best sound quality but you can still understand it. Some of the songs are not traditional but I don't take issue with that and I still think it's fun! Overall I highly recommend!

We purchased this rocker for our 10 month old for Christmas. It is very stable, has a wide seating area, and is very soft. It is also low to the ground which makes it easier for her to try to pull up on it. The musical songs are great, my only complant is that it's hard to understand what they are singing in a few spots. The songs turn off when the button is pushed a second time, which is great when it's accidentally pressed. Overall a great toy.

We were excited to give this to our 18 month old daughter for Christmas but she tipped this over backwards while rocking on it today. The base is not big enough. This toy is unsafe. We are returning it for a refund.

I wanted to love this rocker, so much. It would be a wonderful toy, and my 1 year old is fascinated by it. Unfortunately, it had flaws right out of the box. There is a hole on the back of the giraffe in the fabric, and the tail was only partially sewn on, so it's already coming off. It gets two stars for actually being a toy my toddler is interested in.
