Easy to install. Feels sturdy enough. Has helped fix my wooden gate from blowing in. Doesn’t look bad. Will be purchasing more for my other gates.

Great concept and well made. I had to do a little shaving of the plastic and add a piece of wood where the stopper met the door due to how my gate was set up, but that was expected and the install was straight forward. Now no more uncontrolled slamming of the gait and bending the latch mechanism. The latch closure works perfectly now. Been having to adjust or replace this dang gate latch every so often for 20 yrs...not anymore. YEEHAW!

This gate stop attaches pretty easily, is pretty sturdy (not sure how it will take a really strong smash, but normal gate closing works great). This item will keep your gate from closing past the latch. This should help both the hinges and the latch as neither will be stressed past designed operational limits. The unit is made of some sort of ABS plastic and seems quite rugged. It is designed to attach both to the face and the edge of the leading edge of the gate and strikes the post when the gate is closed. The attachment is several screws (included) and should work fine. We will see how well they last in redwood fencing. The plate that strikes the fence post has three rubber-like pads that provide a cushion between the plate and the post when the gate is closed. I've used this on two different gates and they seem to work fine (first gate - several months; second gate - two weeks). Note I have only used this item on single gate closures. I have no idea if it would work for a two gate closure.

Heavy duty plastic won't bend or rust, perfect for outdoor gate exposure. Easy to install and relieves stress on vinyl gate during closure. Very happy with purchase.

This device is perfect for our porch gate as it permits quick closing of the gate. The hardware matches the existing latch and hinges almost perfectly. Easy to install.

I have a 6.5ft wood fence and the Gate acts like a big sail. With just the center latch the gate wobbles in the wind. Placing this near the top of the gate has helped stablize the gate. I was thinking of a second one but sofar the one is working fine.
