cute and quality built
I always wanted a kukoo clock...my grandparents had one when I was little...that being said...the quality of this one is really nice for the price, however, I have left the kukoo turned off for the entire time I've had it. If I would make a suggestion it would be to put a volume control on it. The kukoo us very loud and synthesized with an "echo" to it. My dog wants to eat it...I'm sure my neighbors can hear it. I work at night so the lights are on and it kukoos all night long while I'm working...it seems to go off especially loud when I'm on the phone...so I gave up with the sound and just turned it off. Also, the face is pretty small so I can't see it from across the room (I really should wear glasses...and this probably isn't an issue for most people who actually do wear their glasses). otherwise I love it and I'm keeping it.

Runs on batteries
Small size. Sturdy clock. Runs on 3 C batteries. Cuckoo sound is recorded and music sounds somewhat cheap. For the money, it's a good value but this is not a traditional mechanical cuckoo clock. I got it for myself and my wife is wanting me to return it for one that isn't a recording. Personally though, it might be worth having one that can be silenced...I'm on the fence.

Very nice clock
This clock was better than expected. It seems tobe of very good quality and was very easy to set up. It uses 3 “C” batteries which are not included. It has good sound to it and also has a night sensor that turns the sounds off when dark. All in all I’m very happy with this clock. Although it isn’t a German made clock, it has very detailed craftsmanship on it. Highly recommend.
