5 years; works great!
The pump is so easy to use. I've been using these pumps for 5 years. Seems fairly durable. It's plastic so I don't have to worry about corrosion or it getting exposed in the rain. I keep it in a little bag with my bicycle. It's easy to pump with it. I've had several flat tires, and this has come handy in those emergencies. I'm more concerned about the size & weight of this since it's always with my cycle. It's important to me that the size is small. With it's blowing capacity, I just pump around 50-100 times, and I have enough pressure in my tires to at least get myself home to pump further.

its perfect for any biker, extremely light weight.
great pump, but doesn't give much air so youll have to pump longer. definitely worth the money, but use mostly as a back up pump if you are lazy. or use it as a fan when youre hot hehe but in all seriousness it is a great pump, small as hell. you could fit this anywhere including your pocket, but if youre one of those skin jeans wearers then you wont be able to get it back out unless you pull your pants off or cut a hole in it. youre thinking "if its that small it cant pump much air.". maybe 6 minutes tops from flat. but most dont let their tires get flat before they pump it. the strap as far as ive experimented with it is ABSOLUTELY useless. doesnt fit around my bike frame, maybe around the handle bar tho. even so it probably would fall out. so just get some duct tape like we do to fix everything, and use it to fix the straps.

Great price on a great little frame pump
Light, rugged pump. Mounts very securely next to your water bottle, using the same 2 screws and therefore taking up no room. The clever Velcro strap ensures that it cannot depart your bike accidentally. Another reviewer stated that the pump slides open while mounted on the bike. This is user error. The little hole in the bottom half of the pump (visible in the main picture) lines up perfectly with a pin in the holder, making it impossible for it to slide open once mounted correctly. The directions do not mention this, but just a tiny bit of mechanical aptitude makes it obvious how it is intended to work. This also works very well on Schrader or Presta valves. As shipped, it fits the common Schrader valve. But if you unscrew the light gray piece at the valve end, you'll see two little black plastic pieces inside. BE CAREFUL NOT TO LOSE THEM, especially on the trail. By flipping both pieces around and screwing the light gray bit back in place, you will find that it is a perfect Presta valve pump. The directions do mention this, but they consist of a very small single piece of paper, and are easy to discard without noticing. I wouldn't try to inflate a tire completely with this pump, as it would take a long time. What it is intended for is to partially inflate the inner tube, allowing proper twist free alignment underneath the tire, before using another method (my choice is CO2) to completely inflate the tube to spec. I suppose you could (in a pinch, no pun intended) use just this pump to inflate the tire to 35 PSI or so from flat, but I'm just too lazy and impatient to even attempt that unless I have no choice.

Three Stars
The pump is small and light, but a little flimsy.

Excellent little pump!
Excellent little pump! So light and small that you would think it can't do much, but it CAN. I have it attached to my road bike and it has saved me twice when I've been out many, many miles away from home. After fixing my flat, I pulled this little thing out and It easily pumped my tires back up to where they were pretty hard (probably around 90psi). Using it IS tricky because of its size--not much to hold on to to get strong pumping action. To solve that, I placed my wheel on its side on the ground, folded the old flat tube into a block and placed it between the head of the pump and the ground--problem solved; I could pump as hard as I wanted because the force was being applied against the ground. Used the presta side--I have not used the schrader side.

Its lightweight and easy
I buy this from my brother. He needs it. I tried it first in my roommate bike and itโs worked great. I recommend it.

Compact pump at a great price. Using for baby stroller. Good quality materials.
Good, compact pump at a low price. I'm using this pump for our jogging baby stroller. Thus, I didn't need anything very fancy, just a pump to keep in the stroller in the event a tire loses pressure. I've used the pump once to inflate the stroller after purchasing, and it was easy to use and did a great job of pumping the tires up quickly. The quality of the pump seems to be very good, with metal used liberally, and the plastic seems to be of high quality.

Worked Properly Three Times
EDIT 07-25-2017 VeloChampion pump broke on its fourth use. When it was new, I tested it on my bike tire at home. Worked great. Barely a week passes and I encountered a nice but ill prepared couple on a local wilderness bike path. They had a flat but no pump, no CO2, and no patches. I was happy to help fellow riders. A few weeks later, the same circumstance, same wilderness bike path, stuck girl rider. That was the third use. Yesterday, another stuck rider. Broke out the Velo Champ, only to find that it felt like it was turned into a vacuum pump, not a pressure pump. There was resistance on the air intake stroke, like either the pump check valve had gone bad, or where ever it takes in air was clogged. Long story short, the Velo Champ worked properly three times and then stopped functioning. Unless you like being stranded, you might want to consider spending a little more on a better quality pump. I am trying this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010JFWDHS Original review below: I wasn't expecting much for under $10. But this little jewel delivers. I let the air out of a front tire to see how well (or if) the VeloChampion works. 150 strokes later, my 24โ mountain bike tire was inflated to a very ride-able level. The particular unit I got does not leak any air at all when locked to the valve. I am also well impressed at the high quality feel of the pump, taking the low cost into consideration.

Great little pump
Super small, nice and snug to the bike and has a strap to ensure it won't come off. Doesn't rattle or anything, not gonna break records with pump time but for a flat fix to get you home, plenty sturdy enough. Edit. Got a flat a few days after getting this thing, and had to reinflate my tire twice (user error) while patching, and this thing genuine surprised me at how quickly I could pump up the tire for the size, definitely will recommend this to anyone who doesn't want a bulky pump.

Versatile and compact pump - ideal for bikes
Nifty little pump - compact and versatile (with different adapters for different functions/tires). I bought it for inflating my bicycles' wheels, and I'm quite satisfied overall. It's quite small, so it's possible to take it with you in a small bag (or even in a deeper pocket). It also comes with a clip, so it can be attached to the frame of your bicycle.

A. Review
The Max Mini Bike Pump is actually a white label product, also known as the Airwave Surge amongst others. They seem to generally sell for about Amazon prices, but it's an extra chance to shop around and read a greater variety of reviews if nothing else. What a marvellous little product this is, how often do you buy something for a budget price without any indication you've done so? It works perfectly, feels tough, looks good, and is almost comically small and lightweight. Pumping is obviously no thirty-second job, but it seems to make surprisingly efficient work of the task and is easy to use even if the wheel is still on the bike, unlike some. I don't have a PSI gauge, the exception of which may be an issue to some, but on a mountain bike I had no issue using it to get the tyres as solid as I'm happy with. While it may be labelled, and sold, as a mini bike pump, it's absolutely worthy as an all-rounder and those who don't place themselves in the upper end of cycling may find this services all your needs just fine. (The instructions could have been dashed out on the back of a napkin by someone who'd never seen the pump before, but if you're reading this then it's not a problem. I've added a photo to clarify the information given, which concerns how to switch to a Presta valve pump.) UPDATE 7TH APRIL 2015: The last part of my comment now makes no sense, as the instructions using Amazon's "hover boxes" that I made have disappeared from the gallery and been replaced with a professional version by the manufacturers. Glad they were on the ball, but silently blitzing my effort from the record and making me look silly is annoying. I've now removed my version is from this comment too. I don't have anything to add in terms of reliability as I have rarely used it, however I did require a pump for a basketball and while most pumps allow an adaptor, this one does not. Spending double and cluttering with another pump was not productive. Otherwise, if it fits your needs, nothing has made me change my rating.
