I understand the struggle of wanting to provide quality food without breaking the bank, and I've tried countless brands, even making homemade meals, to satisfy my Pomeranian Chihuahua. She consistently preferred the cat's food, which was incredibly frustrating. Honestly, I had nearly given up!Chicken is the first ingredient, providing essential protein. Sweet potatoes and pumpkin offer excellent fiber for healthy digestion. This is crucial for a dog's overall health...after all, there's a reason for different ingredients in cat kibble and dog kibble!The grain-free formula is perfect for dogs with sensitivities, and it's been gentle on my dog's stomach. The small kibbles are ideal for tiny mouths...and she really is so very tiny. She weighs all of 3 pounds soaking wet, and I'm always amazed at her little mouth. I love to watch her when she barks because her little snout looks like it's ready to drink from a drinking straw – so small pieces are so important. She has no trouble eating these bits. They really make it easy for her to chew and swallow.I appreciate that there are no artificial colors or flavors. Maybe it's a small thing, but she is such an unexpected and delightful part of my life. For someone who never thought I would ever be a dog person, she has really become a part of my soul, and I would do anything I possibly can for her. This is such a simple thing to do, and I'm not sure why all dog food isn't made without artificial flavors and colors. Over time, I was able to reduce the amount of cat food in the mixture, and now she is eating almost entirely this dog food! Not *really* expensive like a lot of the designer brands that seem to be so popular right now, but slightly more expensive. It's a little stretch for my tight budget, but not ridiculously so. My dog loves this food! Only dog food he will eat. He goes regularly and has never had any issues since he started eating it. I had some of his old food left in the beginning when I first tried switching him over and he refused to eat it again.

I have 4 dogs, including a 14 year old senior Frenchie. He stopped eating and I was frantic to find something he would eat. Up until it's never been a problem, but due to his age it's vital he stays well nourished as he has medical issues. I feed them fresh chicken and beef with a very expensive and widely known kibble. Nature's Recipe caught my attention as it is completely grain free, no corn, soy or wheat added, no by-products of any kind or colors, preservatives or flavors. I got the Chicken, Sweet Potato and Pumpkin recipe and THEY LOVE IT! Even the Frenchie - he cannot get enough and will even eat it before he goes to bed as a "snack!" I am so delighted and they all seem to be doing exceptionally well two weeks in. I just ordered the bigger bag and wet food. Surprisingly this is less expensive than that other kibble - and my dogs are doing better on it and love it! THANK YOU NATURE'S RECIPE! Wish I had found you sooner!

Food is good my dog loves it

I have two dogs that struggle with their weight. I recently noticed that my male dog was itching more, even after medications, flea prevention & allergy shots and I was advised by my veterinarian to change his diet. She feared that he may have a food allergy. I have tried a couple other foods and found this. First thing I noticed when I opened, the bag was that it appeared to be very fresh and not stale. The quality seem to be on par with prescription dog food. The color of the food seemed very natural and did not appear to be full of dye or harsh colors. Within a week, I noticed that my dog seemed to be itching less, his stools seem to be softer/easier to pass. His gut health seem to be improving. I would definitely say that this food was very effective in improving his health. Not to mention both dogs seem to love the taste of the food. Something that we have battled with before.

My 7 pound doggies have been eating this Nature′s Recipe Grain Free Small Breed Chicken, Sweet Potato & Pumpkin Recipe since I acquired them 10 months ago. They just turned one year old on December 20th. I now mix this Nature′s Recipe Grain Free Small Breed Chicken, Sweet Potato & Pumpkin Recipe with Nature's Recipe Chicken, Barley, and Brown Rice in equal amounts. I soften the food with hot water and feed them when it cools down. I also give them some dry as a treat and they love chewing it. It takes me a long time to select items for my dogs as I read all the ingredients and then decide what the best item is. Nature's Recipe won hands down.

This is pretty good quality kibble, especially for the price. My older, middle-sized dog eats this “Small Breed” kibble, since he needs something not so round for his old teeth. He is a mixed breed, with some small breed features so this suits him. Sometimes I buy the regular one, but I believe this is easier for him to eat.

Item is great however, since Jeff Bezos won’t post it, I will…..this product has increased by two dollars since tariffs. That’s just so far.
