Gave 4 stars in durability because I literally haven’t had it for 24 hours, so I don’t know yet.Okay, so here’s the full story.12 years ago, when microfibre blankets had just become a thing, my boyfriend(now husband) purchased a light blue double panel microfibre blanket from Target.Over the last 11 years, I have occasionally managed to theive this amazing blanket in the summer. It’s the best blanket I’ve EVER used. It is soft, it regulates your temperature perfectly(like seriously, we nicknamed it the Goldilocks blanket) and it’s durable AF(it survived a fire, and has been washed weekly to the point that is it now white, not blue).But, there are three problems with this blanket.1.) The tag has been washed clean, so I will never be able to find another one.2.) This blanket isn’t mine.3.) My husband won’t let me use it anymore.So, I went looking for a reasonably priced duplicate, or at least something that won’t boil me alive or let me freeze to death.This blanket is the closest thing I have ever found to Goldilocks. It feels wonderful on the skin, it’s keeping me the perfect temp(yes, I’m using it right now, don’t judge me), and best of all:This one is mine.

UPDATE: I have had the blanket for 6 mos. now... no beads... only a few snags and we have 3 cats. Color still the same beautiful mint color. Loving it.I hope this review will help you. You have to determine what is more important to you. For me first coolness and then color is foremost. When reading some of the items you might want to remember it is going to be under your bed spread so they may not matter if you are looking for a cool spring/summer blanket. Concerning some of the reviews that are critical… “It is cotton weave.”Color:I purchased the seafoam color and it is beautiful. I call it a mint which was more of what I was looking to purchase. It is a true summer color (cool), not a spring color (warm).Weight:Cotton breaths so the tightness of the weave will determine how cool or warm it is. I find it to be more of a medium weave. It is cotton, so it will wear and become a lighter as time moves on. Everyone’s body temp is different, I am wanting it to be for spring and hot summers on nights when I need more than a sheet, so this one may need more washings.Bead:Its cotton so yes it may not or may bead to a degree. Mine hasn’t, however it has only been washed once as couple time at this point so it might in the future.Snagging:It’s a medium cotton weave so it is going to snag to a degree. The cooler the blanket (spring/summer blanket) the looser the weave. I have 3 cats and one claws at it to get under it yet it hasn’t at this point which tells a story.Dry:Of course it is going to fill the lint trap for a bit of washings “it’s cotton”.Shrinkage: Again it is cotton.Size: Some complained of oversize. In my books overage is better than under, the solution is to tuck it in when making your bed. Second, the vendor clearly states “Measurements: 108-by-90-inch blanket.” I purchased a king and I have a queen just so it wouldn't be to short on the sides and I love it. In looking for a lightweight and soft summer blanket, the name, and the reviews, pointed to this blanket. Unfortunately it was very disappointing on all points. Although heavier than I expected when I received it, and rougher, I still thought it was soft enough to work. I washed it in cold water and noticed a lot of sudsing, enough to cause some concern. I dried it on low. When I pulled it out of the dryer it felt more like a horse blanket. It was rough and quite heavy. The color had dulled and muddied a bit. I knew it would be too heavy for my husband’s feet (he hates anything heavy on his toes). It was returned and Amazon handled it well.

I get really warm and sweaty at night, but I love curling up in a soft blanket. I know, catch 22. Well, not with this one. I bought one in basically every color, just to have. I'm obsessed. Perfect for hot weather or hot sleepers! Haha

I was looking for a super-light weight blanket, similar to the cotton blankets you find in a US hospital. This blanket is not that thin but it is quite light weight. It has a nice feel of quality and the weave is attractive. It is a closed weave that won't snag easily, yet it is loose enough to drape nicely. Perfect for layering or a light summer blanket. Soft and smooth to the touch. Frankly the best quality light weight cotton (non-synthetic) blanket I've found. Good value for the price.

After putting up with a “so-called “ queen sized blanket for my queen sized bed, (it was too short), I decided to replace it. As I mentioned, my bed is queen sized but I decided to get king sized to make sure it covered the bed and more importantly ME. My new blanket arrived in short order and I quickly washed and used it for the first time.I love it even though it is a little long on the bed but I expected that. The weight is good, it drapes beautifully and the mint green color is cool to the eye. Too bad I put up with a blanket that never was what I wanted. But I finally made a great choice and would recommend my choice to all.

The perfect light weight blanket for summer! It's soft and breathable so I don't get too hot. Provides good insulation though if you add comforter or warmer blanket on top. I'll definitely be using this year round. Washes and dries beautifully with no heavy shedding. The mint color is very pretty, too.

Love this blanket. This is the second one I’ve ordered. It’s lightweight and most importantly it’s 100% cotton. I can NOT stand hot microfiber. I like to cover up when sleeping but I am naturally very hot. This is the perfect thin breathable blanket for me. I have one in white and now this light green/aqua color. Color exactly like picture advertised.

I'm leaving a very thorough review. Because when buying this blanket, I spent so long deciding and researching, it would have been faster for me to grow a cotton field, and then harvest, spin and weave the cotton into a blanket myself. So to save the next poor mother who just wants to know what they're in for, so they don't get yelled at by their overly opinionated and picky spawn, I mean child, here's the real deal on this blanket.Colour is as shown in photo, we got the lilac color. It's pretty. It's very soft for a cotton weave blanket, especially the top. My daughter always checks which side is softer on blankets, and yes, she uses this one the top side down because it's softer. No it's not fluffy soft, it's not like fleece, but I wouldn't expect that from a cotton woven blanket! There's only so much cotten can do, people. I actually expected her to hate it because she's used to fluffy fleece. I nearly got a strip torn off me about the difference between fluffiness and softness the first time she used it. Texture police over here. But, I bought it for hot summer nights because sleeping with no covers is weird for my daughter. I agree, only weirdos sleep with no covers. On one particularly hot night, I reminded the texture police about the lilac blanket for such a time. She relented, and 10 hours later declared that it's great and loves it and must use it for always. It alone is perfect on hot nights. On cold nights she uses this plus a fleece blanket and is plenty warm. And her bedroom gets bitterly cold. Like Elsa's cold, dead, heart kind of cold. The blanket is some magical material that keeps you cool in hot weather, and warm in cold weather. It's probably woven from the dreams of fairies, by the nimble hands of keebler elves, retired from the treehouse cookie factory. Or unicorns. I don't get it, but Princess Opinion is happy, so I'm happy.I washed it 3 times just to make sure it was de-linted. No lint for princess. But it didn't need the 3rd wash, it barely gave off any lint in that dryer cycle. And only an expected moderate amount in the 1st even. I washed and dried it on cold for the first 2 whole cycles because it said so on the care tag. It was painful because my dryer sucks and only has a 10 minute cold timer. I gave up on cold drying after the 3rd cold wash and instead of running downstairs a hundred times to reset the dryer, I just set it to regular medium heat. At that point I didn't care if it shrank to be Barbie sized because my thighs were screaming for No. More. Stairs. But it didn't really shrink that much. I'm sure it shrunk a little, ok it for sure shrank a little, but I don't know exactly how much. I didn't measure it before, nor will I measure it now because it more than covers my daughters twin bed. If I can tuck her in and get outta there at night, I'm not looking back. And good luck remembering to measure it in the morning. Ain't nobody got time for that.Can't comment on threads pulling or not, as we don't own a cat and our Clifford sized dog can't heft herself up onto our beds. So no threads have pulled out, but we haven't put it to the test in that way. Nor will we. Not taking in any more bodies to care for here. For the love.It's a good blanket. Pretty, soft, not too warm, not too cold, washes well. I'd buy it again. Considering one for the master bedroom.

I just received this blanket yesterday. Needless to say I was a bit sceptical based on the reviews and the price (I bought the king and it came just under $50) but I am pleasantly surprised! The colour is a beautiful shade of butter yellow and the quality of the fabric and the weave is fantastic. I have a dog who loves to lay on my bed at my feet and I have no worries about catches in the fabric. I threw it in my regular wash and it came out wrinkle-free and I didn’t notice any kind of shrinkage! The only negative is I wish the colour was a bit more of a mustard yellow but I’ve decided to keep it because it’s such a high quality gorgeous cotton blanket and at such a reasonable cost!!EDIT: I'm so upset. Only a week in and already there are snags and pulls in the weave, and I even had it under another bedspread! Not sure of the quality anymore. Amazon will send me a replacement so hopefully the new one won't do this!

Absolutely love these sheets and will be buying more. The colour is fantastic - great fit. I was a bit alarmed after drying them as their was a fair bit of "fluff" in the lint tray but the sheets came out looking great, did not shrink and the colour did not fade.
