Never, tried. I drink room temperature water as our bodies observed it better.

Q: How do you store the filter after you use it once for a day or so (or after just priming the filter)?

let it air dry and store somewhere out of light where it wont grow moldy. we suggest a plastic bag or the refrigerator.

Q: Would this Epic Nalgene OG bottle be too big or heavy for a 4 year old toddler?

Way too big for the kids hands but I doubt a kids got the strength to draw through this filter. Filter does pop off if you wanna use the pickup like a straw or tilt with the straw also removed
