Miracle Nipple Mini, 10 Pack Nipples with 1 Miracle O-Ring 3 ml Syringe

I know this is a long review but if you're on the fence about buying (I know they're not cheap) please read on to see why I really REALLY recommend these. If you're reading this review and don't need a lot of convincing, click add to cart and buy them. Right now. Over the last # of years I've easily had 40+ orphaned babies (kittens) that I've bottle fed. I have used a lot of the available products (which are not high in number) and out of all of them I would give these little guys 1000 stars if I could. Bottle babies are already at a disadvantage not having mom and her milk, and trying to get them to eat is often a challenge. These are fantastic for the following reasons: 1. The wide, low, flat base and small tapered nipple is so much closer to what they'd have with mom. The typical "kit" bottle nipples are just mini versions of human bottle nipples, which are made specifically for how human babies nurse. These are made with the idea of nursing mammals and keeps their physiology in mind 2. This is a HUGE one for me; these are PRE-PUNCTURED. If you've ever used the :small animal" bottle kits they come with unpunctured nipples. They give you instructions to "poke a hole" like it's as simple as 1+1=2. In reality you are actually dealing with quantum mechanics and 1+1= the square root of purple cow. No matter what you poke the hole with (needle, hot paperclip, razor blade, steak knife, ice pick, hammer & nail, industrial laser, etc...) you end up with a nipple that either they can't suck on hard enough to get milk out of or you're drowning them in it. These little pre-punched holes seem to be pretty consistently a good size for the littlest of littles to the "almost eating real food" kittens. PRE.PUNCTURED.NIPPLES people. Worth every penny you pay for them. 3. With some patience and nipple squishing skills you can put these bad boys in the ring for the small animal bottles that come in the aforementioned kit. Personally I really like this bc you have the advantage of the bottle volume coupled with the awesomeness of this nipple. This package came with a syringe that's made for these nipples but my foster kittens and I struggled with it. They couldn't suck quite hard enough to move the plunger and I'm so afraid of them aspirating I didnt want to compress the plunger for them. It probably is a great item if you can make it work for you, I just couldn't get it to work for me 4. I have yet to have a bottle baby that has refused this nipple or struggled with it. We had immediate and full success (which if you've done much fostering you know is not something you see often). Obviously this will not be a fix-all for poor feeders but it at least takes away one more barrier 5. They're easy to clean and don't tend to clog like your "self punched" nipples from the kits. If you use a plastic ring from a bottle kit I would definitely make sure to take the nipple out each time to sterilize both pieces because it fits very snugly against the plastic ring and they don't always get completely clean when they're left together 6. They are pretty dang durable. As littles start getting teeth the other nipples seem to get bitten through pretty easily. I'm guessing the shape of this nipple coupled with the low/flat base help avoid this issue (or maybe it's dark magic, I dont know). My last orphaned litter had 5 babies and I rotated through three nipples between cleaning/feeding. Not one of them looks like they've been used hardly at all and will all be used again for x# of litters to come. Believe me, I washed these things and sterilized them HUNDREDS of times with frequent feedings and lots of babies and they still look like I just took them out of the package In summary: Buy these. Buy them now. Use them to feed the littles. Rejoice happily at the excellent purchase you made.

Used this Mini Miracle Nipple (with syringe) for an orphaned newborn kitten and it worked flawlessly. The soft silicone lets tiny mouths latch immediately, and the slow, controlled flow prevents gulping or aspiration—huge when you’re terrified of overfeeding. The nipple locks onto the syringe securely (no pop-offs), and the graduated syringe makes it easy to track intake. Cleans fast with hot, soapy water and holds up to quick sterilizing between feeds. Pros: natural latch, secure syringe fit, precise control, easy to sanitize Cons: a bit pricey for an emergency one-off (someone dropped a stray), but the reliability is worth it. Bottom line: If you ever have to bottle-raise a neonate, this is the tool you want on hand. Five stars.

Great product for new born kittens

These things are great for bottle babies. For some reason, and I don't know how, they work much better than any other nipple I've ever tried, and I've run a cat rescue. I know they're pricy but it's a good feeling being confident knowing you'll be able to feed your kittens without trouble every feeding.

This is a very needed item at our East Bay SPCA. I ordered this as a direct ship as they are heading into kitten season and will use a high number of them. They reached out to their supporters with a list of items needed which made ordering easy

I must have if you bottlefeed kittens, puppies, or other small animals. I love it because you don’t have to spend time wrestling with trying to get the perfect cut in the end of the nipple so that the right amount of milk comes out.

Not even kidding when I say these work. Had absolutely no luck with the normal nipples in the usual bottle kit. These work like magic. I wouldn't use anything else. The kittens latched so easily once I started using these. I did eventually use the nipples in the bottle kit but only after they were old enough to transition to soft food. They start to wear out from multiple feedings so its nice to have plenty on hand. Easy to clean and flows well. If it gets clogged maybe try checking the formula consistency. If it ever clogged id just use hot water to push water through the syringe and the nipple and it cleared it quick. Worth the money.

We foster kittens often and we have found these mini nipples to be readily accepted by newborns, the flow rate is perfect and we've never had an incidence of a kitten biting off the nipple and choking on it. However should this ever happen, then one would have to blame that on human negligence for not staying aware. We do replace nipples with a new set after raising a litter from birth to weaning because like anything, they can wear out and possibly become soft enough for an older, overzealous unweaned kitten who has the teeth & strength to bite off a chunk (however careful monitoring WILL prevent this). As long as you use a non-glumping formula that dissolves and mixes well (Fox Valley Day One formulas are great), the nipples flow freely and won't clog. They will fit and stay attached to any luer lock syringe. I have lost confidence with the Miracle syringe hence my 4 star review of the set. The syringe used to last the course of raising a litter but my last couple of syringe purchases lasted no longer than the 2-3 times usage of the cheaper luer lock syringes before the plunger started sticking which poses a serious danger of choking/aspiration to the baby you are supplementing. For those who complain about the markings wearing off ANY syringe, re-mark them yourself with dosage marking labels (available on Amazon) BEFORE it becomes unreadable...problem solved! All in all, the mini nipples are a blessing when you have to handraise newborn kittens and I will continue to purchase the Miracle nipple brand only. But the Miracle syringe has either deteriorated in quality or I received some inferior batchs that no longer hold up to minimal usage so I now buy the cheaper luer lock nipples in bulk then toss them after 2 or 3 uses..

Item received as described, arrived within estimated delivery time. :)

These are the BEST nipples for kittens or baby raccoons! We use them at our rescue and these are hands down the best nipples. You can buy bigger ones for puppies.
