About how thick & how soft are these shields?

I estimate that they're 1/8 of an inch thick at the thickest part and they taper to very thin at the edges. They're very soft and squishy. The feel of them reminds me of those "sticky hand" toys, only without the stickiness. And not quite so stretchy.

Will these work on the "Big Toe"?

Hi,These pads are only meant for for the small toe. They're for tailor's bunions.Dyan

Is this strong enough to act like a brace for a broken pinky toe?

Hi Sharyn,The spacers are quite durable but I'm unsure if it's a good brace. I suggest that you get in touch with your podiatrist about it to be sure.Thanks.Dyan
