Needs Epoxy
Good product, instructions are easy to follow but could’ve been written more straight forward. Make sure you have a good 2 part epoxy before you start, you’ll need to glue these onto the inside of the tailgate and bolt in place to cure.

It does the job!
Brought for my 2008 Jeep JKU. It does the job. Instructions are lacking, but if you are at all mechanically inclined it's easy. Just a little tedious. The instructions advise to use epoxy to hold the brackets in place to make it easier to bolt them in place. I used double sided tape with no issues. 20-25 minute install. Installed approx 6 months ago and still holding strong. If you are purchasing this for your oversized spare tire as I did. I would strongly suggest to purchase heavy dirt rear gate hinges to support the weight of the tire or else your rear gate will eventually sag. ****Used for a 35" spare*****

Falsely adds confidence
I've purchased this and regret it. I wish I didn't break off the welded in nuts for a couple reasons:1) Using epoxy didn't make them stick. After I removed the bolts a couple days later, none of them stuck. Second attempt I used JB Weld. A few days later I had to take the bolts out and only 1 stuck. Could it be coating they use of the pieces? I don't know.2) The weak park of the tailgate is not these nuts, its the spot welds that hold the body structure to itself. So yes the nuts are a little weak, but they are not the actual problem.Overall I feel it was a waste of money, and now I'm stuck with having to use these because I had to remove the OEM nuts. And since I can't get them to stick, it's not a pain in the ass each time I need remove these nuts - which if you are constantly modding your jeep is more often than you would think.

Quick fix
Does what it is supposed to. Need to include some glue or epoxy to hold pieces in place to install properly. Lucky I had something that would work.

Use the vice grips just as the instructions say to and don’t be afraid to use some force.
Solid material and already comes painted. Best part are the super detailed instructions.
