This was very easy to apply on my own. Using a “lotion” glove I was able to apply this to my full body in about 15 minutes. It left me with a very natural looking tan

Will be buying again. Goes on so nicely, gives me as nice of a tan as the foam self tanner but less messy & better application- no streaks, etc. lasts days. Interesting smell but not like tanner, kind of reminds me of Christmas potpourri lol like spice. So glad I found this lotion

I am really liking this gradual tanning lotion. I use the platinum mousse w/a glove for my regular self tan and thought I'd try this when I can't devote a night to self tanning. It works well and has rich, dark color. I don't like that it has a guide though. It makes it feel like a regular tanner because if I don't shower off the guide it'll get on my clothes, and I am not going to wear a glove so my hands get a little tinted. The other brand I use for gradual doesn't have the guide which I appreciate, but there's no color quite like Loving Tan's.

Best tan I’ve ever tried. I’ve used jergens natural glow for awhile because I just like to have some color but it never gets me as dark as I like and I really don’t like using anything other tan than gradual tanners. This stuff is so amazing! When I first applied it I could see that I would need more, I was at a very light state and had only started out with a little bit because I was nervous but I went in again and applied a second layer with a random mit that I also bought here on amazon. It does give you an instant guide color but not anything that’s going to make you look tan immediately or anything. After about 2 hours I could start to see, and smell, the tan developing. Again, I was very light when I applied it so idk if someone with a medium skin tone would see it developing that quickly. I wore this on my skin for about 12 to 14 hours before I really just couldn’t handle the smell of it any longer. It is a little stronger than any other tan I’ve used but let’s be honest, tanning day never smells nice, I don’t care what tanner you use. Once I rinsed off in the shower I did take a loofah to scrub just to make sure that I really got rid of all of that smell and then applied lotion and I would say that I’m about a medium/dark but maybe with another application in a day or 2 it will be another shade darker. I’m happy with where I’m at honestly. With one application of this, I reached about the color I would achieve of building my tan with my jergens natural glow for 3 to 4 days. So I’m happy and cannot wait to use it again!

I first bought the light color to see how it works on my skin, I haven't used a self tanner in quite a while but I want to minimize sun damage to my skin. Other tanners I tried in the past have been streaky and too orange so I was nervous about trying this. I have light skin that does tend to a red undertone sun tan. The light color is very light, but I didn't have any streaking. It took about 3 applications over a couple of days to get a good shade of tan, no orange tones, and then I had to re-apply about every other to every 3 days. I haven't had any color transfer to my clothes, which is great because I've ruined bras and shirts with tanners I've used in the past. I decided to try the medium shade to see if it would be less work and it is. I get a nice shade of tan with one application instead of three, but there is more chance of streaking, especially on areas like feet because I just do the tops, so you can see where the tanner stops and my paler skin color starts. Might try using the medium for my legs and the light for tops of feet so my feet aren't pale but just have a hint of color. I also bought a set of facial and body mitts for application, not this brand, a cheaper set, and I'm so glad I did, they make application so easy and no accidental color transfer to hands/nails. Now my routine is the medium tanner 1-2 times a week on my body and the light tanner on my face every other day.

Way more orange than expected based on other reviews.

I’m “see through” type pale and this tanner is the perfect tone for the pale girlies! Not orange, goes on super smooth and looks so natural! The smell is pleasant and because it goes on dark you can easily tell where it is and where it isn’t. It’s super easy to apply, blends well and moisturizes the skin. I work out every day and can say it’s sweat proof and doesn’t come off once rinsed. I love it! Photo included is 1 application on leg only against my bare arm with no tanner after applying and leaving it on overnight so you can see the results!

I was diagnosed with melanoma a couple years ago so I don’t get out in the sun much to tan. I’ve tried several self tanners but this is by far my favorite. This self tanner gives a very natural look and is so easy to apply! I’ve recommended it to all my friends. LOVE IT!!
