Nice old technology for specific applications.
Works great with my existing smart home controller and security system in conjunction with Z Wave devices. I use it to control a pool light and pool shed fan that is separate from my home, where Z wave would not work.

Receiver stopped working
I like this kit but the receiver stopped controlling the lamp I had plugged into it (Channel 1 or Channel 9) after about ten hours of operation. I would have to unplug the receiver and replug it each day. Soon after, , the receiver stopped responding to commands entirely.

save ur cash
Uses the old, RS232 port; 9-pin connector nothing I had in my house had that so had to buy adaptor .... then still couldn't get it to connect for automation next step trash can

Software supplied with unit is outdated. Computer is looking ...
This unit is obsolete. New computers are not even made with that type of interface anymore & the software won't even run on a 64 bit computer. Selling old stock. Shame on you.

Not Good
Did not work - returned it - came in a very beat up factory box with water damage to the box. Looked like very old stock.
