UPF 50+ Women's Brittany Beach Hat - Sun Protective

GREAT FIT !!GREAT HAT!!! Do not read the other reviews!! I almost did not buy this hat. So glad I did. I love Coolibar products. I work for a MOHS surgeon and I am an Esthetician and I recommend this product to all my patients! I have a BIG head and this fit me. It will fit smaller heads too since it has s strong inside.

This hat is comfortable and travels well. It can be folded up and shoved in a backpack then be taken out and worn. There is a wire in the brim so you can shape it and you're good to go.I usually have a difficult time finding hats that fit. This one fit perfectly. There’s a string inside that can be used to tighten it if needed. The hat didn’t stay on too good in a strong wind. It was a lot of wind though.I love how the hat looks. I looked at many hats before buying this one. I love it!

I have many, many hats, but the one style I didn't have was Paddington Bear! Seriously, I got this bucket hat with an oversized brim was so I could fold the brim up like the adorable Paddington Bear, lol. The other great thing about this hat besides the stylish brim and excellent sun protection is the ELASTIC adjustable cord. I have the tiniest head and to my surprise, this hat fit snug when I pulled the cord tight because it's elastic and it hugs my tiny head. There's plenty of room there for bigger heads too-- it just probably won't be pulled down as low on the forehead as mine. I love this hat so much that I've already ordered the grey color! I've tried less expensive bucket hats on Amazon with brims 5" to 5.5" and this is the best because it's 6" wide, has an elastic adjustable cord, and the fabric is the ideal weight so that the brim doesn't flop around and it's still lightweight enough to be comfortable. LOVE!!

the coverage on this hat is VERY good. It's saved me from lots of sunburns and shields my whole face and back of neck. I do use it for gardening so it has gotten dirty from sweat, dirt, pollen, etc., and it's not super easy to wash because of the wire rim. I have had to just soak it a few times and then drip dry and it has changed color in inconsistent ways. (I have the light beige color and inexplicably it is darker and and orangish in some spots - chemical reaction to the soap???).The wire brim is kind of fiddly: it is very bendable which can give the hat a rumpled look. on the other hand, bending the brim up to see better is super easy and it stays put. It arrived kind of squished up in the box like someone had just stuffed it in the bag, so it was never in perfect condition. It looked so elegant on the model in the picture. Getting it back into a perfect circle again was a bit futile. If I ever do get another one I would keep it for situations where it would not get dirty and store in a location where it would not have to be folded more than once.

The hat seems beautiful, but I ordered it TWICE from Amazon, and both times it came crumpled like garbage.It is a packable hat, but it's meant to be packed neatly - the rim and crown are so creased that I can't smooth them out.

This hat keeps my entire face - not just part of it - protected from the sun & stays in place. As an added bonus it surprisingly keeps me cooler too! The inside drawstring keeps it secure to my head in the wind, and the brim is sturdy & doesn't flop around which I love. I had been using a wide-brimmed shapeable straw hat prior to this, but sun rays can still get through the tiny seams & weave of straw hats sometimes. I wanted to find something similar but with better protection & did a lot of searching. I hesitated a little at first because of the price of this hat but am glad I went ahead & bought it - it's exactly what I was looking for! I bought the Natural Herringbone color. (I've included a pic to show the interior drawstring.)

Good material and quality stitching. What I dislike about this product is the wire inside the brim of this hat because when it was shipped to me it was bent to the point that I can't make this hat look normal and not wrinkly on my head. It lacks integrity as far as structure goes.

This hat is big enough to give your whole face protection from the sun; including your cheeks and ears. The wire allows you to flip up the brim or shape the hat however you’d like. I am totally satisfied with this purchase...even though my family laughs at me.

Lovely, does it look a bit silly on me though for everyday wear? Well yes as the brim is so big, it is fine for the beach, but I needed something to cover my whole face and neck and this does the job. I felt the black would look the best and it does look nice, but it does get hot in the sun - a paler colour would maybe be cooler inside. I have a really small head and I thought the head would look too big, but it fits perfectly and it has a drawstring inside which you can make bigger or smaller. This feature is great so it won't blow off on windy days. Highly recommend.

This is a great hat, really good coverage

I just received my hat and it was squished into the package and the wire rim is broken.
