Vive Offset Cane (Teal)

Really pleased with this stick, I was a little unsure due to some reviews but glad I bought anyway! The colour is lovely, a true purple as shown in the pictures and I'm thinking about ordering an additional couple in other colours for different outfits due to how vibrant it is! The handle is chunkier than expected which might be handy for people with gripping issues, and without them its still comfortable for me to use. The handle is made from a smooth, slightly rubbery feel plastic which shaped well for my hand and comfortable to hold without needing extra cushioning. It came neatly packed in two parts, to be clipped together, no issues with either the press button or the tightening ring, it was easy to adjust through the different lengths. The ferrule included was thick and good quality, and easy to remove to change the ferrule over to a flexifoot one.

I need two sticks to walk any distance outside the house, and somehow managed to mislay one (don't ask 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣) ... So gave this a try as I've heard offset canes are better. Certainly very sturdy and secure, feel very happy with it's quality and support. Noticed that my hands and wrists are much less sore and painful after using this cane than my other, standard straight stick. All round I'd happily recommend ☺️

Dear Sirs, I absolutely love this walking stick and would like to request a replacement because the 'end part with loop' is faulty and keeps dropping off! Which really is not safe for a disabled person to have to keep bending to pick it up to be honest. At first I thought it was a one off when it dropped off, but it is more of a nuisance now and not safe for me to keep bending to floor to pick up with my M.S. & Rheumatoid Arthritis It really is a comfortable walking stick and it truly helps my balance more that a 'straight down walking stick' and its very comfortable for my RA painful hands. I bought this for a treat for myself last December 2022 and it is still under cover up to December 2023 although I didn't use it until my travels to Spain in Springtime and I must say everyone has admired it. I look forward to your early reply and thanking you in advance.

I occasionally use a walking stick, as though I'm in my 50s, I suffer awful panic/anxiety which makes me feel unsteady/jelly legs.. I also have back pain with osteopenia, and especially in bad weather conditions I'm apprehensive of falling. I have had a folding stick for some time, but that has become a little worn. I chose this product because of the design, the handle shape gives reassuring balance and a comfortable hand grip, the stick is simple to adjust to your height. I am definitely more confident to go out now. Extremely pleased . I also purchased a stick in different design, had sent to my friend who lives in Birmingham, she is an older lady with different health issues, she too has found the new walking stick such an asset, and is well pleased I treated her too. So brilliant product & 2 happy customers !!! 😃👍👍

I love my new walking stick it is so much more sturdier than the nhs one it just feels better in my hand grip wise, also really not as heavy it’s so lightweight. I love the pretty black and butterfly design I wish the white one butterflies was in stock i would purchase this also. Really happy with this wish I’d seen it sooner.

Looked lovely, however after a couple of weeks the rubber on the handle started to come away & the wrist strap broke off. Such a shame as it was a nice product

The stick arrived this evening. Looked ok initially, but the rubber handle twists round as you use it and therefore works it way off the handle! The coating on the stick is also shoddy and peeling in places. Having used it this evening I am extremely disappointed to find that there is a twisting movement between the top and bottom parts even with the tightening ring nice and tight Does not instil confidence! Sadly I have taken the label off. I wish I had not purchased this and would not recommend it. All in all I am very disappointed.

Es muy bonito el color y para una persona que esta un poco gordita (90k) es resistente, no es frágil, es aguantador

I like these canes a lot. They are light weight aluminum and the color options are aesthetically pleasing. The height adjustments are spot on and hold perfectly without being wobbly. They are comfortable to use and don’t hurt my hands, wrists or back. However they are easily scratched. The hand grips fit my hands well but have not held up under the stress I have put these canes through. The handles have rotated where the glue has separated and not held securely in place. I have repaired all but one on my own with a drop of Gorilla glue. The vinyl hand grips on the last pair purchased about a year ago has ripped and peeled. Today I had an additional two canes delivered making the total of 5 canes bought in the past 4 years. I’m going to assume maybe the kind of workout I put these canes through may be more than what they are designed for since I use them every time I move. They truly get a constant workout! So are they perfect, No! Do they last a very long time for the kind of wear and tear I put them through, No! But even with all the issues I would still give them a good rating because for the time they last I am extremely happy. I really wish they would last longer than they do but I will continue to order the Vive Walking Cane for the reasons I initially mentioned.
