I would assume so. I used it to adhere fabric to acoustic insulation so I would imagine that's a similar application.

can I glue car floor carpet to metal side panels

I would think so, depending on what kind of backing the carpet has. We used this to attach synthetic speaker cloth to an MDF-type board when redoing our Bose speakers. The adhesive was easy to work with, and has held up for 7 or so years, with no sign of deterioration.

Will this product dry transparent ?

Used Nozzles

The product is expensive but does the job well. The problem is that the seller has listed the item as non-returnable and yet delivers used nozzles. That is not OK since : A. It’s a rubber-based adhesive and a clogged nozzle is almost impossible to use. B. It makes you wonder as to what is going on ? The can seems to be new but the nozzle is old. It’s strange.

Super 77 Adhesive holds tight!

Works exactly as advertised. Used it on carpet padding in a car I am restoring. It stuck padding to the rubber mat and a second layer of padding to the first. Both are holding tight and will be in place long after the carpet has been installed in the car. I would recommend this product.
