Thank you for saving me. ### ⭐⭐⭐ I associate German manufacturing with supreme quality and decided this brand must be the obvious choice (especially since I got *by D***S on April 13, 2016* This was my first foray into ceramic knives and I entered hesitantly into this new world of cutlery. I am, by trade, a chef and I have always used German brand carbon steel knives. I associate German manufacturing with supreme quality and decided this brand must be the obvious choice (especially since I got such a great deal on them). However, after only my second use, I was hand washing them and the chef's knife slipped out of my hand and fell about 3 inches to the bottom of my sink and chipped! Being these ceramic knives are supposed to be harder than steel, I was standing there, looking at my new knife and IT'S new chip lying in the bottom of my sink making me feel like I should have stuck to carbon steel.
