There are no instructions and I did not realize that it was a wrench needed to unscrew the old one. I pried the old with a flathead and nearly ruined the alignment of a 28-year old KitchenAid. This was my second or third time needing to do it but I forgot the process. Just pay attention to the opposite spin than a normal thread direction. I have been using this for several months a couple of times a week with no deterioration. Review: The included wrench is useless without modification for the Kitchen Aid K585 See picks - Couple of things, first if you have the K585 blender the included wrench will not fit between the base support tabs but this isn't the end of the world, simple take the other end of the wrench and grind the hole open (see pic) and you will be able to slide it in between the tabs to remove the old part. Now with that said the kit comes with 5 couplers. As you can see by the pictures the original part (left, picture 2) is much more substantial then the replacement (probably why you get 5) and is made of a hard plastic instead of the original hard rubber. An installation tip, when installing the new part place a dab of anti seize on the part before you install. This will allow the next time you need to replace this part much easier. My original lasted 20 years I really doubt the replacement will do as well but I now have 4 more and a wrench to easily replace it again when it fails. Anyway you look at it beats the heck out of $300 for a new one. ## Features - What you receive: 5 packs of 9704230 blender couplers and 1 piece of wrench, they are convenient for you to repair your blender using the hand removal tool - Fit for: these hand blender replacement parts are compatible with model KSB5 series - Replaces part number: these blender couplers are made exactly compatible with KitchenAid, the top name brand, replaces part numbers is WP9704230VP, WP9704230 - Easy to use: the blender coupling is easy to install and great replacement for original parts - Reliable quality: the blender couplers are made of quality plastic and have been well-tested, sturdy and durable, can ensure long-time use ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07Y7S33RF | | Best Sellers Rank | #819,779 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #1,233 in Blender Replacement Parts | | Blade Material | Plastic | | Brand | Mudder | | Brand Name | Mudder | | Color | Black | | Container Material | Plastic | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,367 Reviews | | Included Components | 5 x Blender couplers, 1 x Wrench | | Manufacturer | Mudder | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type Free | PVC Free, PTFE Free, Phthalate Free | | Number of Items | 5 | | Number of Packs | 5 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Portable | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Recommended Uses For Product | Blending | | Special Feature | Portable | | Style | Modern | | Voltage | 220 volts | | Warranty Type | Limited warranty | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Mudder - **Color:** Black - **Included Components:** 5 x Blender couplers, 1 x Wrench - **Material:** Plastic - **Special Feature:** Portable ## Images ![Mudder 5 Packs 9704230 Blender Replacement Parts with Wrench - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71KSXSAJ2VL.jpg) ![Mudder 5 Packs 9704230 Blender Replacement Parts with Wrench - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61vtmkhXkLL.jpg) ![Mudder 5 Packs 9704230 Blender Replacement Parts with Wrench - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61UcID86MYL.jpg) ![Mudder 5 Packs 9704230 Blender Replacement Parts with Wrench - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71jHJZTz67L.jpg) ![Mudder 5 Packs 9704230 Blender Replacement Parts with Wrench - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ORX2EYeNL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Como hago para istalarlo** A: Hola! El paquete trae una llave con la que quitas el dañado dando vuelta hacia la derecha. Para poner el nuevo solo das vuelta a la izquierda y solo se aprieta al usar la licuadora **Q: Which model it fit for ?** A: These blender coupling replacement parts are compatible with KitchenAid model KSB5 series **Q: Will this work for kitchenaid bcg1110b0 coffee grinder?** A: Mine was a replacement for a blender. Not sure it would work for a coffee grinder. You’ll need to refer to the list of what it will replace. **Q: These do not work in a levo ii. someone said they did?** A: You are right, won’t fit Levo ii, only KitcheAid blender. I never heard of such brand. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect fit, quiet, easy to change *by Z***H on June 3, 2026* Pay attention to the wrench! The part appears to be as durable as the original, and it was a breeze to install. One thing to pay attention to is that the part is reversed threaded so tightening is actually loosening the part. 🙂 ## Frequently Bought Together - Mudder 5 Packs 9704230 Blender Coupler Blender Coupling Replacment Parts with 1 Wrench Compatible with KitchenAid WP9704230VP WP9704230 - 4 Leaf Blender Blade with Rubber Gasket Seal Ring, Replace KSBGCB 9704267 9706716 PS11746926, 4KSB5BK4, 4KSB5BU4, Replacement for Kitchenaid - 9704230 Blender Coupler with Spanner Kit Replacement Parts Compatible with KitchenAid KSB5WH KSB5 KSB3 Driver --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/160573324-mudder-5-packs-9704230-blender-replacement-parts-with-wrench](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/160573324-mudder-5-packs-9704230-blender-replacement-parts-with-wrench) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
