Makita TP00000199 Long Blower Nozzle

This nozzle transformed my blower from a seldom-used tool to a workable tool! Moving grass cuttings and light amounts of leaves works so much better than with the default wobbly rubber nozzle. The rubber one is great for cleaning sawdust off tools and workbenches but just not suited for any yard work. I stumbled across this while looking at buying one of Makita's 36v blowers for $$ but this solved my need for a fraction of the price. Not going to work in the fall if you have trees for moving a lot of leaves to the curb but for anything less than that you'll find it surprisingly powerful. Get a 5.0Ah battery for the blower and you can work for a good twenty minutes before you need to switch out batteries. Your finger will give out before the battery does. Actually that's a problem with the trigger but oh well, the nozzle works.

The long blower nozzle is a necessary addition for the Makita XUB05Z, which is a great little, lightweight electric blower as it gets the power right at ground level (or anywhere) where it's needed. It's fairly expensive for what it is, though.

We find this extension is critical to maximizing the effectiveness and ease in using our new Makita blower.

6 stars. Worked with my 18v clone blower. The long directed outlet nozzle makes yard cleanup much easier than the original rubber nozzle. Well worth $20. Blower is three times as effective now.

Bought this for my new DUB185 blow, I was initially a little bit disappointed to find that the nozzle doesn’t fit this model despite Amazon claiming it to be. After some tinkering, I did end up discovering it does fit… but probably not the intended way. I had to remove the locking mechanism from the stock rubber nozzle that came with the blower and fit that inside this nozzle. From there I was able to twist and lock the nozzle in place. I will warn it is a VERY tight fit but can still be removed and swap to the shorter nozzle when needed. Nozzle itself works very well, love not having to bend down when blowing debris off my lawn and sidewalks. Overall pretty much a necessity for these smaller Makita blowers, just be weary of which blower you have.

Makita tools are the best. You can always order most of the parts and fix the broken tools yourself. They are put together well.

Game changer. This little accessory will change the way you feel about the best power tool I have ever owned. I have purchased no less than 5 of these and have given them to the family members who have the Makita Blower, because I sent that to them too. They all cannot be without it and now with this attachment it has brought a whole new capability to its effectiveness. Now you do not need to bend over to get just the right amount of air on the target. It is a true hit with Makita Blower owners....

Does a brilliant job, but it should come as an included part of the blower. Mikita kit is very good, but they charge the earth for it.

If you have a small garden, and occasionally some leaves from your trees and from your neighbor, then this addition is great to clear them out when they are dry. For wet leaves it's more difficult but OK with some types. For large gardens would recommend a proper leaf blower.

Prefect fit and it turned my Makita cordless blower into a great floor blower and now I don't have to bend over .... I use this in the van a lot to blow out sawdust and other dirt off the floor .... I even use this in the cab to blow out the floor.
