Good fit on a Vortec 8100 with headers
Good fit on a Vortec 8100 with headers. Plenty of length and I was able to bend the boots/terminals to clear the headers. These have held up for 3000 miles and counting, my previous set of off-brand silicone wires had burned boots and carbon tracking after <300 miles.

Too Long for 5.3L
These were purchased for a 2006 GMC Yukon XL with 5.3L engine (same as the Chevy Suburban). The Amazon site says that these should fit on the GM 5.3L. Basicaly they are a set of short cables to go from each coil pack to the adjacent spark plug. They are all an inch or two too long and the cables end up rubbing on things in the engine compartment. Cylinder #5 actually gets snagged on the steering column, which causes the cable to become unplugged. I ended up making a custom cable for that cylinder. I would not recommend this item for this application. The MSD site lists the correct part number as Part No. 32829, which is the black wire version of the exact same cable. This also shows up as the correct part for the 5.3L application on the Amazon site. I called MSD to complain and the tech told me that I needed part number 32813, however the Amazon fit checker states that these will not fit my application.I purchased the shorter 32813 set on the technician's recommendation and they fit, but were quite tight. It would be good if they were all a half inch longer for this application anyway. The plug wires as far as plug wires go are top rate. The stars were dropped dut to application and fit ambiguity.

I had a slight miss with the original factory wires ...
I had a slight miss with the original factory wires that would occur from time to time so I replaced the plugs and the wires. No more miss and seems to be running stronger. Heck I may even see an increase in milage that I thought I was loosing do to age of the vehicle.

get the right ones the first tim
Don't cheat yourself by skimping on the wires that are under constant use in a vehicle. Think about it buy the better wire and insure you get a good burn from todays expensive gas. I have run allot of different wire sets over the years and MSD are always the end choice. Never had to replace them after installation and I put 300000 plus on every vehicle I have owned.

Never had much trouble with MSD in the past, ...
Never had much trouble with MSD in the past, this particular set of wires ran well for about a week and I started getting random misses under load. I replaced this set with the Accel 9000 series ceramic boot wires and never looked back. MSD did warranty the set I bought and I sold them to a friend.

You won't be sorry
They fit a little differently from the original wires but it's no big deal at all. The performance difference is amazing. Used with NGK Ruthenium plugs. Throttle response is night and day difference. 2007 Yukon 5.3
