Because of the massive change in the body the bowel works differently than it used to. A program of regularity needs to be developed which will take some time and is a little hard on the body. For me, natural stimulation ceased. I found I needed some sort of external stimulation. To assist with the bowel program we started using suppositories. They usually took about an hour to work and then failed 25% of the time. They did, however, increase stimulation sufficiently to help learn the new "regularity".I heard about Enemeez and contacted the company for a trial sample. I found the stimulation occurred in 10 to 15 minutes instead of an hour and failures dropped to about 5%. Regularity depends on many things including diet, liquid intake, self-induced motion or externally generated range of motion stretching, to name a few.When I started using the Enemeez I found them for about $1.50 each after shopping around. Now, unfortunately, the best price is about $2.25.
