Great fuse taps, risky fuses
The fuse traps themselves work just as intended. I will say inserting the mini fuses into the slots takes a bit of effort but once they’re seated, it’s definitely reassuring that won’t slide out. The electrical wire itself seems to be 16awg so plenty for any regular tap. However I would definitely not trust the fuses, they look like dollar store quality and there’s a lot of risk that comes with that. I don’t want to be in a situation where a 10A fuse doesn’t blow with 13Amp draw because they look so cheap. Do yourselves a favor and buy a set of reputable fuses when you use these taps. Better to spend the extra $10 now than a $500 BCM later on.
