I purchased some copper jump rings from the supplier, and unlike the bronze jump rings also purchased, the copper ones were easy to close. The bronze ones are very hard temper. Anyway, I was working on a project in copper, but I ran out of copper rings. Since I already had bail making pliers, I decided to give this wire a try to make coils and cut the rings myself. They matched almost perfectly in color, which was not a deal breaker anyway since I prefer the weight and color differences of copper compared to bright aluminum, and the temper of the wire seemed exactly the same as the pre-made rings I purchased. If you are thinking of buying this wire to make your own jump rings to get the exact size rings you need or the correct aspect ratio for making those picky AR weaves, then I think you will be happy with your results.
