Mini Paracord S Keychain Carabiner Clip,SF Spring Backpack Clasps Lock Hook for Outdoor EDC Camping Tactical Survival Gear(Pack/10PCS)

Had intended these to make quick-release clips for a Nikon DSLR, but (a) the hole is way too small to accept the strap ends, and (b) the clip is too big to fit the camera mount. However, with a combination of the original small triangular split 'rings' that come with the camera and a pair of spare small split rings (keyring type) the clips work fine. They seem robust enough (15kg max load claimed) and the spring-back clip is strong enough to prevent accidental unclipping while not being difficult to clip on and off. Probably give 5-stars for their intended paracord purpose!

I bought these without reading the (silver) bit in the title of the ad as the image has black ones which I thought I'd ordered but its no big deal. I bought 2 packs for my 3x3 DD tarp so I can create quick release guy ropes as needed when camping. I can simply loop the lines around onto itself through the tarp now. They're smaller than expected and are a tad difficult to get back off the tarp once on but are strong and do the job. The lines are wrapped for quick release and kept in the tarp bag in case I need them so are stored dry meaning less hassle to dry them all out. The hole for the guy line/paracord is spot on in diameter and the clips seem strong.

These are straight out of a mad scientists lab! It's like someone managed to blend Arnold Schwarzenegger's DNA with an alloy from an unknown source. These bad boys are redonkulessly strong! When I first got them I was like Whaaaaaat, hell no! But as I bought em to do a job, I was going to use them regardless, and boy was I surprised ... They may be small ... Tiny infact, but they are big on quality. Thought the clips would bend, snap or twist under any amount of strain, but they coped with the strain of suspending a 6 meter by 4 meter heavy duty tarpaulin plus a decent bit of wind and rain, even when the rain formed a mid sized swimming pool in the wells of the tarp! It's quite rare that I am amazed by something purchased through the digital portal, but I have to say ... I'm amazed!

Clips are great, using them as part of a security tether on a camera clip - one either end of a 70cm of 3mm paracord and clip to camera and the rucksack that has the camera clamp. If the clamp fails, if I dont seat the camera in its clip properly, or if I drop the camera from my hands, the tether stops the camera from hitting the ground.I only need two carabiner clips for this application, but I suspect that I will find other ways to use them over time, so that's why I am a bit disappointed that there are only nine in the pack.

I ordered these to use in making paracord items, as they looked like a great fit. The size listed is correct, but like a lot of other people the photo with the hand made them look a lot larger. I've taken my own version of that photo to compare.The clips are very well made, they come individually wrapped in paper within a zip lock bag. The tension on the clips is great, and they work really well. Good little clips, metal and strong but still smaller when they arrived than I had anticipated. Yes the measurements are all there, it's just hard to picture them. There's nothing wrong with the hooks (hence 5 stars), but I'm going to describe my personal further mistake, so others can avoid it...I ordered 5mm elastic bungee cord to thread through the 5mm holes in these hooks - don't do this! Order 3mm diameter at most. When you cut cord, it frays and can't be threaded through a 5mm hole. (Amazon even shows a 3mm cord with the product, but not elastic). I chose an elasticated cord, with diameter of hole itself, in error - see 2nd photo - That's not gonna work!

These are very small (total length 24mm), very neat little clips that I bought the first time round to use to clip my home-made powder-ribbons onto my skis, for which they were perfect. But, having found them, I have bought another pack and will use them for all sorts of practical applications, one of which is to clip a security disk onto whichever set of car keys I am using at the time. The clip is very springy, and the metal body of the clip seems very strong and I have no fears of anything coming loose. Altogether a very good and well made product, and I'm sure I will buy more again.
