Review: Very impressive saw, Works great for tree limbs - This saw works great. Lubricate it well. Follow the instructions. Be careful when using the 2 extensions because they can wobble, but if you are cutting limbs that high, you should have experience, common sense, or have someone else do it. With one extension it works flawlessly like a professional tool. I cut up to 7 trees multiple limbs with one battery charge. Make sure to use proper gloves, glasses or goggles, and don’t eat the sawdust.
Review: Great Dewalt, Fantastic Seller! - First and foremost I would like to start with the seller CPO, the package arrived opened with the factory tape missing, in no way did this leave their facility like this, when I opened the package I noticed the battery was missing, so my only assumption is that somewhere along the line in transit that event took place. At first I immediately engaged a return but then I contacted desertcart and CPO responded super fast, I explained the situation, and they took care of it right away, so fantastic 5 star seller! It sure beat repackaging and hauling this thing to be shipped back and waiting. So I’m extremely happy! As far as the tool, If you are a Dewalt guy like me, what can I say, it’s just another amazing tool to have in your arsenal.. I just used it for the first time yesterday, just like dewalts small 20volt chainsaw you will need bar and chain oil for the chain to be lubricated while cutting, so make sure you add that to your list. I normally buy that by the gallon as I have numerous chainsaws however if you’re just using this one a quart will most likely get you going for an entire season depending on the amount of trees you are trimming. I wound up trimming approximately 35/40 trees around 10-12’ up and did so within about 45 minutes and I did not use the third extension pole As stated in some unhappy reviews that expected this tool to measure out to be 15’ it’s not, and you need to understand that’s its based off the height of a normal human added to it. So the tool does approximately measure out to a little over 9ft in total when all 3 extensions are used so indeed you will unless you are a very short person be able to get the advertised height standing on your own two feet. Beyond that height you will be on a ladder. The trigger safety on the handle that needs to be engaged while operations takes a little getting used to, little tricky at first but then you get the groove fairly quickly. I also read some other reviews about the connector between extension vibrating loose and indeed that does happened, I had to tighten mine 3-4 times during the use, no biggie and completely understandable given the vibration and maneuvering one has to do while trimming. All in all the tool worked great, cut right through the limbs and trees with ease and quickness. When done I checked remaining battery level and it only took one bar away from the fully charged battery. So it was a great buy as usual with nearly all of Dewalts tools, no regrets, and again an amazing seller! Thanks Dewalt and CPO!

**Q: Is the pole length adjustable? What is the minimum length?**
A: The saw came in three sections having a total length of of about 120 inches.  The center section of 40 inches is removable giving a a minimum length of about 80 inches.

**Q: Can the saw be operated alone, like the Worx saw, the pole can be taken out, so the saw can be used as a "chain saw"?**
A: There are only two lengths - with all three pieces which makes it 9 foot long, or with just the handle/battery section and the saw head at 6 foot long.  I've used it on a few close to the ground branches, but it's not as easy to wield as a regular small chain saw.   While you can reach some higher branches, you don't want to be cutting directly above your head.

**Q: Why do they openly state its 15 ft reach when people that have purchased it says it’s only about 10 ft ? What’s going on Dewalt ???**
A: I never really thought about it but I believe when they say it will reach 15 feet.  When.you’re holding the Pole Saw straight up yourself. If you can reach 5 feet and the Pole Saw can reach 10 feet that’s 15 feet. I believe that’s what they’re talking about.

**Q: Does this have an oil fill window?**
A: There is not a window. The DCPS620M1 has a oil level indicator.

This saw works great. Lubricate it well. Follow the instructions. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent machine !

I use this pole saw to cut small branches from two oak trees in the front of my house . The branches are about one inch in diameter. It cuts the branches smoothly and fast without putting any pressure on the branches. It took me only 5 minutes to put the 3 sections together. You need to charge the battery and put the oil in the oil reservoir first before use. You can buy the oil from any home depot store.
