i bought this dash cover and its 1 inch too short on both sides so how do i fix this

I also thought of maybe buying a small pice of felt and tucking it under each side then Velcro it together?

Yes.. perfectly.. comes with Velcro but I don’t have to use it.. stays put by itself.. nooo slipping or sliding.. not blowing when windows are down.. shields reflections from windows perfectly.
