There are six pieces in a hard plastic shell container. Important to know your front sights diameter as these come in varying diameters. Each strand is about 6” in length. Each application only requires about 1/2”-3/4” easily snipped with nail clippers. It was my first time installing these on a Colt Competition Series 1911. After watch a couple videos on the basic install method, I did mine right the first time and in about 10 minutes. Perfect and exactly what I needed. ### ⭐ Sizes are NOT accurate, product unusuable *by M***L on Reviewed in the United States on April 5, 2020* I purchased a package of these fiber optics for use as sight replacements. The description says 0.04 inches, which is just a bit over 1mm. The actual product measures 0.89mm, making them useless. Too much trouble to return them, obviously.
