Gibraltar 6611DB Double Bass Pedal

This pedal is amazing!... now be that as it may just know that I personally have not tried extremely expensive ones such as the pearl demon drive or the Yamaha flying dragon. However the previous pedal I had was a VEX pedal... a cheap run of the mill double bass pedal that lasted a decent amount of time before giving out... i was looking to slightly upgrade w/out spending to much more than I had for the VEX. This pedal (The Avenger is its name i thought I'd mention because when i purchased it didn't say it in the description) blew my mind and all of my expectations. You will not be disappointed with this pedal. It delivers from what I can tell the most professional performance for the price. From other review's that I've read all around the NET it even beats those 600 + dollar pedals. I can't honestly say it does but I'd be willing to bet it did. Gibraltar really hit this one out of the park.

We have same model Gibraltar single base pedal, also hi hat so we decided to match a double bass pedal.The double was okay, but the right pedal bearing was a bit loose, which resulted in a click noise each time you use it.. we returned the item. Probably would go higher end.. It wasn't so bad and otherwise this product is quite okay.

This is an OK pedal at a good price. Its very noisy and the pedal tensor keeps getting loose no matter how much i tighten it. Other than that ive been using it for 8 years and going.

This Double Kick Pedal is Excellent, you get what you pay for.Pros: Well made, easy to set up, VERY attractive looking with the Wave pattern cut into the base boards. I have the high-hat stand in the same style.Cons: It doesn't come with free personal lessons from your choice of Neil Peart, Meytal Cohen, or Mike Portnoy... Sorry guys, I'd pick Meytal...

I bought this pedal because it seemed like a good deal and it got positive reviews. After testing out the first one I thought it was defective and tested the replacement that Gibraltar sent then realized its just poorly made. The bearings on the main shafts are entirely too loose and the joint at the heel has an 1/8" of play in it making this the noisiest pedal I have ever played on. You certainly could not record with this thing, it's way too noisy. With everything being so loose it does not feel sturdy.If you are playing big rooms with a loud stage and don't want to shell out for an iron cobra you can get by with this one. I'll stick to my tama iron cobra and pearl power shifter.

Great pedal for the price.Its a bit noisy but overall a great pedal.It arrived quickly and wasn't damaged or missing any parts.Music 123 is a great store.

I've been drumming now for more than 2 decades - and if you've ever dropped 300, 500 or 2000 dollars on a double pedal - you're a complete fool. This pedal stacks up pound for pound to any pedal I've used / tested. Smooth, durable, steady and consistent.

Got me this new toy and it's cool. I was already familiar with Gibraltar products and that's why I bought this. Now, I'm gonna learn how to make it work right.
