Humble Aluminum-Free Deodorant, Bergamot & Ginger - 1 Pack

First of all, I should say that even though the smell is phenomenal, it does not last. However, the deodorizing effects last through an entire day and beyond. A number of people in my house would comment to me how I smelled after a hard day at work, and then one day after wearing this, they told me they were surprised I no longer smelled bad. I didn't smell like the fragrance of the deodorant because it had long since disappeared, but I absolutely did not smell bad(which is the entire point of a deodorant anyway). This bar, if applied well and rubbed thoroughly(I do almost like a chicken dance to make sure it's as rubbed in as well as it can be), will NOT stain your clothes. I can say this now because I have been using this deodorant for a year now almost every day with a regular rotation of clothes(I wear mostly the same clothes each week, and there is no staining on any of it). Comments saying it stains just aren't applying it right, maybe they're putting too much on or putting it on in a rush without taking the extra 15 seconds to make sure it's well rubbed in. As for the quality, it seems to be a generic container that they buy in bulk. That's completely fine, it works perfectly. The ingredients are what matter, and they are better than any deodorant you will find at pretty much any store. I can pretty much promise that. Stay away from "fragrance" unless it is specified to be natural, and even then "natural ingredients" is not a great label either. Both of these are more than likely harmful and just a trojan horse for things you don't want anywhere near you. If I recall correctly, this deodorant has natural fragrance listed, but it does also specify that this fragrance comes from real sources. Overall, this is the bar you need if you want a deodorant that works and is better for you. It excels in deodorizing, as I smell bad on other mainstream bars after a few hours, but not on this one. It excels in fragrance, though is understandably subpar in the longevity of said fragrance(lasts up to four hours, but no more). Lastly, this looks like a very small company that actually cares about their product and impact. That alone makes it better than anything you'll find at a supermarket, and is worth serious consideration. I will continue to use this bar, and if anything unexpected happens(won't) I'll update this review.

It's always been hard to find an all natural deodorant that actually works. I cannot use any products that contain baking soda because I'm allergic to it. For years I was buying jasmine tea deodorant from Schmidt's, absolutely loved it. Baking soda free, all natural. However they discontinued that particular one. In fact it's become hard to find any sensitive skin deodorants on their website anymore. So shopping around on Amazon, I ran across this lavender humble deodorant. Sensitive, no baking soda. So I figured I would give it a shot. First of all the price was much lower than all the other natural deodorants other companies are asking for. The scent smells great, I had no skin irritation and it worked all day, absolutely no body odor whatsoever. I live in Miami, it is July, very hot and humid. I work out in the gym and I work in my yard daily, and I also cycle on my bike. Needless to say I sweat a lot, I had no issues with odor. I am 100% sold and happy that I stumbled across this product. Update, August 1st 2025, as of a couple weeks ago I started getting irritation. I don't know if it's the lavender or something else that's causing it, I purposely got the sensitive skin / no baking soda and yet it still causing irritation. I really wish I could just find a deodorant that works that does not give me any type of irritation. Unfortunately Schmidt's sensitive skin jasmine tea deodorant has been discontinued, wouldn't you know it. Oh well, just my experience. Update, I ordered the Bergamot and Ginger, the mountain lavender give me a horrible rash, I'm thinking it's the lavender. But the new one I got is great, for sensitive skin, I apply it after my shower in the evening and I reapply it in the morning when I get up. It has not agitated my skin whatsoever and it really works. Remember everyone is different. I spent 3 hours out in the yard working, was sweating like no tomorrow here in the hot Miami Sun. And after all that, I still did not smell whatsoever. Thank God, finally! The scent smells like the yellow starburst, but it's not overpowering.

I searched for a long time for a chemical green healthy deodorant. I tried some of other natural deodorants, and they really didn’t work for me. The cream type ones just were gross and inconvenient to apply, and ones like Native often have “fragrance” ingredients that are really just ways to hide chemicals that are bad for you. My girlfriend made me throw the salt deodorant I tried out when she smelled it haha (smelled like BO). This one however is awesome! Smells amazing, like a spruce and pine forest. It will start out a smelling strong, but it does fade a bit by the end of the day. However, even when it fades it leaves a very pleasant and neutral sent! No BO. If you’re heavy handed applying it you can sometimes see a little white residue or it can rub off on clothes, but it washes out very easily in the wash.

I’ve tried nearly every “clean” deodorant brand and hated every one. I settled with Native because it was the lesser of the evils, but even their deodorant was mostly ineffective and the scents made me feel ill. So I gave this a try and I absolutely recommend it to anyone who is still hunting for a more natural option that actually works. The formula is very impressive. It’s not dry but also not slimy. One swipe held up amazingly during my everyday activities, and even while working out and running. It did leave a some marks on my darker shirts, but nothing too horrible. The scent is very pleasant. It’s not overpowering and it doesn’t make my sweat smell worse, like all the other natural deodorants do. However, on the topic of scent, I took away a star because their advertising is not completely honest. You might be led into thinking as I was, that the fragrance was obtained 100% from essential oils. Not entirely the case. They brag that they use no artificial fragrance, yet from the ingredients list it appears that the lovely frankincense smell is achieved mainly by unnamed “fragrance” (like all the other companies). But, there are some fragrance ingredients that ARE from essential oils in here, which is great and I’m impressed! I’m seriously nitpicking, but I wish companies were just upfront about the contents. Besides that, the ingredients are impressively clean! And of course, no aluminum is great. Overall, I would highly recommend this product! I will be ordering more again in the future, despite the not entirely pure scents 🥴

THIS deodorant actually works! So far no breakouts and no funky BO! I've pushed it with my workouts and my everyday activities and it has held up! It smells like it did when i put it on and not a mix of fragrance and funk like past deodorants. It only takes 2-3 swips and you're good to go! The frankincense is a good scent to start :) I've tried a few natural deodorants in the past but it did nothing for the BO. Ive tried every brand that's offered on the shelves and nothing has been able to hold back the BO (i sweat like a grown man). Women's deodorant has never worked for the BO and clinical strength deodorant is just a joke. Chemical deodorants have always broke me out in a rash and some brands of men's deodorant holds back the BO but it always breaks me out in a rash, even the sensitive skin ones.

I got this in Morrocan rose a while ago when I began to question what was in my regular deodorant (“endocrine disrupters” apparently) and whether I even needed *real* deodorant in the first place? I don’t seem to have body odor issues nor do I have issues with excessive sweating. I’ve always just worn deodorant out of habit (I’ve always loved the ones that smell like candy) but the times I’ve forgotten to wear it I’ve rarely noticed any difference (sometimes I’ve even wondered if it actually causes me to sweat). I figured I might as well switch to “clean” aluminum free deodorant. This one showed up on a list and unlike many of the other brands, it isn’t outrageously priced (no way I’m paying $20 for deodorant). The Morrocan Rose scent is lovely, but I happen to love rose scents (this is like the “english” variety). Sadly, the scent isnt so prominent that it could double as a perfume. I can only smell it faintly hours after applying if I put my nose to my skin (and that’s only if I haven’t sweated a lot from working out). The stick is solid and white and it applies smoothly but I gotta admit, it feels a little heavy (thick). It still gives me that weird damp feeling that all deodorants apparently give me. I also noticed that I got an ingrown hair while using it but I’m not sure whether to blame that on the product or myself (I will say that I have always had to avoid using products with capric triglycerides on my face as they tend to clog my pores but surprisingly, this ingrown hair wasn’t nearly as inflamed as the kinda acne I can be prone to - like I wouldn’t even have known it was there if I hadn’t actually been checking, so I’m not sure what to think). Unfortunately, I wouldn’t rec this deodorant you if you have real issues with body odor and/or excessive sweating. I work out everyday and it just barely works well enough for me on the days I end up sweating a lot! I suspect I would definitely need something stronger in the summer. Also, my biggest issue with this deodorant is that it stains clothes, possibly permanently! I’ve noticed it’s created white marks on some of my black shirts (will update with lots of complaints if it’s permanent!). I’ll be trying arm and hammer’s essentials deodorant next (already found it significantly cheaper than this deodorant in my local grocery store).

I wore this deodorant on a 12-hour hike covering 11+ miles and roughly 6,500 feet of ascent, and I was genuinely impressed with how well it performed. Even after hours of climbing, sweating, and changing layers, I never noticed any underarm odor. I reapplied it maybe twice throughout the day, mostly when I changed shirts or added and removed layers rather than because I felt like I actually needed more deodorant. The rosemary scent was really pleasant and never overwhelming. Every once in a while, I’d catch a hint of it as I moved, and I actually enjoyed that—it almost felt like a little bit of aromatherapy during the hike. My only complaint is the texture when applying it. It goes on a little more “paste-y” and leaves a thicker layer than most deodorants I’ve used. You could probably avoid that by keeping the applicator rolled down fairly low and applying a thinner amount. That said, the thickness didn’t bother me once it was on, and I couldn’t feel it between my arms at all while hiking. Overall, I was really impressed with the odor control, especially after putting it through a pretty intense 12-hour hiking day. The rosemary scent was an added bonus, and despite the slightly thicker texture, I’d definitely use it again.

This is my favorite deodorant from the humble brand! And my favorite aluminum free deodorant I’ve tried! It lasts long and actually works! I had tried scented versions before and felt like I stinked more, which became a problem as I started to smell and sweat more after having a baby. But the unscented one has worked really well and it lasts all day maybe with minimal smell at the end of the day on some hotter days. The only reason I don’t read it five stars is because it did come kind of more like a cream consistency where I have to use my finger to get it out and rub it in? But that hasn’t caused many problems, and I almost feel it kept the remaining product more clean.

Deodorante meraviglioso, ha un profumo travolgente che rimane addosso per giorni. Da quando lo uso non so più cosa significa puzzare di sudore.

Habe ich im Urlaub in Norwegen kennengelernt und war total froh, dass man es zumindest über Amazon beziehen kann. Riecht irre gut, aber nicht zu aufdringlich. Vertrage ich sehr gut (reagiere oft mit Ausschlag auf Deos). leider Teuer, aber es lohnt sich :-)
