Got a smoking deal on this used open boxed one under 30 bucks other stores like O'Reilly and AutoZone wanted 250 to $300 just did it myself and saved a lot of money so far looks to be working don't have the remote to see if the clicker will work but the power locks do work which I can lock my door finally2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 6.6 LBZ

I've installed a few of theses now, mostly on '05 2500hd or 3500 trucks. It fits perfectly and works well. I'm pleasantly surprised by how much better my door closes and latchs after installing this. I only replaced it because my interior lights didn't come on when opening the door. My drivers door closes and seals like new again, it even eliminated wind noise that I thought was worn out door seals.Highly recommended......also, this job isn't easy. Make sure to watch some videos ahead of time or ask for some help from someone who has done this before. There are 7 connections to make and none of them are especially easy to reach. This is the kind of job a professional can do in 30 minutes but an amateur without a plan will struggle with for many hours........it's not easy.

This was exactly like the original and worked perfectly. The only problem was the plastic inserts that holds two of the rods in were not very tight and the rods kept falling out. I swapped the 14 year old ones from the old unit and they worked better.
