Clear Conscience Contact Lens Solution, 12 Fl Oz Single Bottle

Love that it isn’t tested on animals. Very important to me! Thank you!!!! I’ve worn contacts for 20 years and this stuff feels the same as opti free or any other major brand. No issues. Same quality but ethical.

I have been wearing RGP Ortho-K lenses for about 15 years, and getting the right saline conditioner for my sensitive eyes occupied about 11 or 12 of those years. I use the AO-Sept or Clear Care cleaning system and that is always followed with a nice rinse in a saline conditioner before I put the clean lenses back onto my eyes. All the big brands make buffered saline for sensitive eyes, and sometimes I'd even use SIMPLUS as my conditioner, but none of these is nearly as gentle to my eyes as the Clear Conscience. It is soooo gentle and soothing. This is not a product for cleaning or storing RGP (B&S SIMPLUS is fine for that), but this product's package label does endorse use as an RGP conditioner.

I used to wear my contacts 24/7 for the entire month... shut up, I know it's bad, but I didn't care. Each time I put my contacts in it would irritate my eye and I'd begin my full-day ritual of poking at my eyeball, moving the contacts around to adjust them, adding eye drops, taking them out and putting them back in, closing one eye at a time for a minute, etc. It usually took 1-2 days for my eyes to adjust after putting in my contacts. Can you blame me why I never took them out?? After wearing my contacts 24/7 for 10 years (and using FDA-approved night & day contacts), my optometrist noticed irritated blood vessels (or whatever she said) as my prescription continued to worsen. Upset, I ran into Whole Foods right after the appointment and tried whatever "natural" crap they had(although not recommended by my optometrist because she's worried natural things aren't FDA-approved... but I feel the FDA is joke anyway) and discovered this. For the 1st time in 10 years, no irritation or discomfort after popping on my contacts. As a result I bought this huge solution via Amazon. See ya never BioTrue, OptiFree, and ReNu. Also I'll have you know that I am allergic to over 20 different foods, so perhaps this would also be good for those with sensitivities.

I highly recommend this contact cleaning solution. I have used this for many years now to clean and store my contact lenses. I found this contact solution when I was trying to transition to a sustainable cruelty free products years ago. Finding a quality contact lenses cleaning solution that was cruelty-free was and is still very important to me.

Given the stranglehold that B&L have on this market, I was eager to find someone, anyone, who offered some alternative that might be more reasonably priced.I should say at the start that in forty years of "hard" contact lens wearing, I have never followed the instructions to the letter. Always found the business about not using tap water to rinse complete horse-hockey, for instance. Never, ever, EVER had an eye infection issue as a result. But it's just me, YMMV.All I really wanted was something that really did scrub those lenses as clean as the classic B&L three-in-one solution and this just doesn't seem to do so. This could be just my imagination, but I seem to get the "fuzzies" after a few hours' wear when I've relied solely on this solution to clean as well as wet and soak.That said, it's fine for soaking, and for wetting, and it's a lot less expensive, so I use it in tandem with the B&L three-in-one. I also have paired it with a B&L cleaning solution with good results.

As a life-long wearer of soft contact lenses I was running out of options for disinfecting solution that wouldn't set my eyes on fire. Products that I have used in the past have been discontinued over time for one reason or another. Only now have I figured out the Boric acid preservative is what I'm sensitive to. That said, I wish all of those other products had been discontinued sooner so I could have found this stuff. My eyes have never been happier, so please don't ever go away or discontinue this item.

I am a new soft contact lens wearer and have tried several of the popular solutions. All left my eyes dry in a short time, and I had to take my lenses out as soon as I got home from work because they were so uncomfortable. I do use a rewetting solution 1 or 2 times a day, but before this product, was using a rewetting product at least 4 times a day. I thought I"d try this product because maybe my problem was because I have a reaction to the other solutions. This product has enabled me to wear my lenses all day well into the evening with no problem. No irritation, no red tired eyes. I am sold on this product and won't go back to any of the other brands I've tried. And its not tested on animals which is nice.

I was a little skeptical trying a new cleaner that wasn't made by a contact lens company. But it says it works with rigid gas-permeable lenses, and it was a good price, so I gave it a try. It works great! I have had no trouble with lenses getting filmy or dry during the day. I originally bought a 3-ounce bottle to try. One great benefit of that size is that, even though it is slightly taller than the other brand I had always used, it contains 3 oz, or 100 mLs, so it can go in your carry-on when you fly. My other brand is 3.5 oz, or 105mLs, so always had to go in checked luggage (I never understood why the company hasn't wised-up to that!) The Clear Conscience solution also comes in a 12 oz bottle, so if you are careful, and can create a relatively sterile environment, you can refill the 3-oz bottle as needed. A great product all the way around.

Absolutely brilliant. I am actually wowed by this contact lens solution. I didnt realize solution could make such a difference. I've been buying a cheap solution as money is tight, but I've been getting horrendous dry eye (red eye) which is so painful my eyes stick together at night, can't stand light in the day with horrible pain when going out in daylight or looking at daylight through the window and a horrible sandy gritty feeling. I used this for the first time last night and I put my contact lenses in this morning with a soothing sensation brought by the solution, usually my sore eyes reject the lenses sometimes to the point they fall out again or the fall whilst trying to put them in, my eyes are so sore and gritty it feels like forcing more sand in. Putting them in after this solution, not only did it feel soothing but my vision was also crystal clear, the lenses had been cleaned so much better. This is more expensive than some others, but so worth it for the quality and even more so to support an ethical company and not horrific animal tests including on primates, rabbits, rats and mice that the big companies do. Also vegan ingredients which not all are. Will buy this from now on.

This is one of the only cruelty free and more natural lens care companies I could find. The import price here is insanely high though.

I took this size so I can take it in an airplane and the quality of the product is really good, better than the one I used previously.

It’s not the cheapest but comes in a big bottleCleans and stores lenses very well. They are fresh when I put them in in the morning. As good as the big brands selling contact lens solutions but they have the Vegan sign on so no animal testing and that makes a big difference.Unfortunately there is no Lens case in the box.
