See Pictures: the small coil of orange wire is a $20 LED Rope I bought a while back, and it impressed me with how bright it was, and it uses a standard 12v LED strip generic supply. So I bought this big spool thinking it would be even half as bright. Normally I have that smaller wire turned down to about 25% because it'll still light up a room at that brightness.You cannot tell in the picture, but the camera toned down the smaller LED Rope quite a bit in order to capture the big spool. They are night and day difference! To get the smaller rope (16ft) to the brightness level of the bigger spool, I have to turn it down on the manual dimmer switch to the threshold of turning OFF. I turned off all the lights and turned on the spool to white, and I couldn't see more than 5 feet away.I had a 2nd power supply, but they heat shrink the plug to the line, so I wasn't about to mess with it and immediately requested a return. It could be defective, but with what I paid, I'm not chancing anything.Disclaimer: I may have a defective unit, but I doubt it. Also yes I have turned the brightness all the way up and this is the level at which I took the pictures.NOTE: Spool came broken on the bottom (this stuff is heavy), which did not affect the wire (no damage). The bag of mounting clips was also open and they were rattling around when I picked the box up. This is likely Amazon's packing job as there was zero packing material around the spool or under it and things just got to shake around inside.

I bought 150ft length of the rope lights from Shine. They worked for a few days and then stopped working. The power converter had a bubble. I contacted Shine with the problem they were so helpful and comunnicated immediately anytime I contacted them. They sent me a replacement right away and have done anything to make sure I could fix the problem. They even offered me a refund even though the time frame had lapsed, but i liked the lights so much when they were working. I wanted them to replace them and they did. Great Seller. I will definately buy from them again.

I used this product in two rooms (kids cave, media room) as concealed lighting in crown molding. The product bends around corners very well and the light output can light up a room with a low glow. Perfect for video games or watching a movie. The staff at the company is on point too. I received a bad power brick with my order. I contacted the company via their web page. They responded within a few hours asking me to try a few things to confirm the brick was bad, which I did. They then sent me a new power brick, which I received within 2 business days. To me, it is not that I got a bad power brick, which will happen from time to time, but that they fix the issues fast. That is good customer service.One word of advice when installing. If you are cutting a section, cut it 1 section longer than what you need. You can always go back and trim it up, but if you miss the cut line, you may end up short a section as it will not light up as you cut the circuit for that section.

The media could not be loaded.  Some pictures will follow within a day or 2, but if you are considering getting lights, GO WITH THESE! Just got the lights and installed them. They are very bright (but can be dimmed)! The colors are very cool looking and the remote is RF so you don't have to aim it, just hit a button and it finds the controller. The rope line is very flexible and can turn corners without a problem. The box comes with plenty of mounting clips which I use adhesive to mount them around the outside of the concrete surrounding my in-ground pool. Let the clamps dry for 24 hours before you install the lights in them if you are using adhesive. Absolutely worth the extra money for the quality of product! Customer service is outstanding, Alice helped me with a few questions and responded in the same day on 2 occasions. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for this type of lighting.SIDE NOTE:I had one previous strip of IEKOV LED NEON LIGHT - and they were OK at best. The clear plastic on top faded within 2 years, 2 sections of the lights decided to display different colors randomly, and the remote had a hard time finding the receptor - so go with the SHINE DECOR!!!!

Great lights!!! really bright, dimmable, rf remote is so handy being able to be 60+ft away in any direction to operate. My only concern is people not understanding there is a led strip inside & installing it wrong & causing failures. Should def read the instructions on the bend tolerances of the strip. They are flexible to a point & can only bend in one direction. You can pintch them to tightly in the track also & cause a circuit to fail until you releive some pressure. Thought these things was worth mention due to seeing some neg comments & noticeing alot had intalled improperly. With those things done right. Great value, awsome lights. Highly recomend

We purchased these lights for our dock. At first we couldn't get it to stay on the color we wanted and it kept going back to red.I contacted the company through email. Not only did they respond the same day, they gave me directions to sync the lights and the remote. I tried doing it, couldn't get it to pair. Contacted the company again which again responded so quickly. My husband went and retried it and got the remote to pair.We are so happy with the way they look on our dock and our extremely impressed with this company's customer service.

This is a real professional product, and we really appreciated the nice quality aluminum mounting brackets. However we decided to return it because it doesn’t have a warm white setting. The “white” setting is extremely cool, and the next closest option is a solid yellow. Only 13 colors to choose from and nothing one can do about it!

The lights were much dimmer than other Fex Neon LED I bought in the past and I've seen better remotes as well.
