The Photography Bible: A Complete Guide for the 21st Century Photographer Paperback – September 30, 2012

This is my go-to book for anyone I meet that asks me about photography. I am not a professional, but I am a pretty good enthusiast and I often get comments from friends and acquaintances about my photography. They often ask what camera I use, and I tell them it isn't just the camera - it is knowing how to take the pictures.Which is a pretty annoying thing to say, unless you can back it up with a way for them to learn how to take the pictures you take as well.So, depending on my level of friendship, I will either send them a link to this book or send them the book.This book is easy to read, covers everything you need to know to get started AND to take great pictures. It isn't expensive and it is up-to-date. I've read a LOT of photography books, this is the one I recommend to anyone who asks how to take better pictures.

I'm just starting out in photography and craved for more knowledge in this field. After getting this book, I immediately opened it up and couldn't put it down. This is a great book for beginners like me because it is so packed full of simple to understand information.The tips are great and the each item is explained for simple minds like mind. This is a keeper and will be in my library for good.

Great for beginners, but also for us more experienced photogs. I lost my copy & bought a new one because I find myself looking up things I don't have much experience with. Great manual that is easy to understand for all levels.

Great book.

This book is very useful and is the only book worth owning if you have a DSLR camera. It goes with me everywhere because I keep it in my case.

When I sampled the ebook I couldn’t find a copyright. None to be found. Should have been a major warning. Book is outdatedShame on me.

this book was so basic but written for anyone to understand the camera and capabilities. It sure helped me answer a few questions I had with my equipment. I keep the book close so i may solve a problem when taking pictures with my S3.Just a great book I urge many photographers to read this bible to get a deeper knowledge of the product they are using or considering to purchase

just a basic book not for me

This is a very detailed book for D5200. The explanations and procedures mentioned are crystal clear. Hats off to the author for his bold and sincere effort.
