Legendary - Playstation 3

I remember when this game wasn't released yet and I was reading about it in a game magazine. I thought to myself, WOW, finally a game where you do nothing more than shoot monsters with awesome weapons and solve some puzzles. I couldn't buy it when it released because I was overseas and busy with my work but I remembered it when I saw it on Amazon under twenty bucks $[...]! I was excited and immediately ordered it. I received it about 2 weeks ago and can't get enough of it! It's lots of fun, great graphics, excellent story and scary monsters! Although there are minor bugs in the game, it's nothing that'll cause the game to freeze or force you to restart it. Your arsenal of weapons include a fireman's axe (first weapon), a handgun, multiple machine guns, sniper rifles, shotguns, and molotov cocktails (burn baby, burn). Cut 'em up, shoot 'em up, burn 'em up, or blast 'em up. Whichever you choose to do. I'm sure there are more weapons but I haven't beaten the game yet so I don't know. I'm busy trying to beat COD Black Ops but every now and then I do switch to this and take some aggression out on the monsters and bad guys. If this review helped and gave you a somewhat idea of what the games about, buy it. For $[...] you can't go wrong. Oh, and it's free shipping.

The game is worth the price for any gamers library and very challenging even for a seasoned gamer. I enjoy the challenge.

Unfortunately, Legendary seems to be quite an underrated game. I remember first seeing and playing it way back when it first came out and absolutely loved. Fortunately, I was able to re-find this game and still enjoy every minute. The concept of running around a modern day new york in the wake of pandora's box being open is a great idea. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the greek mythological creatures and the unique ways you spend to kill each one. Definitely a game worth playing

When I heard the premise for 'Legendary' I thought, wow - this game could be one of the best games of 2008. Basically the idea is that Charles Deckard, an art thief, is duped into stealing Pandora's Box. When he inadvertently opens it, he releases hordes of beasts thought to be fictional - such as werewolves and gryphons - into an unprepared modern world. A full scale war between man and myth begins, and it is quickly complicated by the actions of powerful secret societies. Sounds good doesn't it? Well it's not. It is a horrible game that has sub-standard graphics and animations, the sound and music are terrible and feel strange and out of place, the game is ridiculously short and there is no online mode whatsoever, only one multiplayer mode which is rubbish and no replay value. Quite simply put, the biggest flop of 2008, with no exceptions. DO NOT BUY IT.

There is a balance when it comes to games. It's okay if I die all the time as long as the save system cuts me a break. But there comes a point where I'm replaying the same thing over and over and whatever fun I might have had is gone. It was an interesting idea, but I found myself banishing it from my PS3 after only a few hours. There is really nothing new or innovative about the gameplay itself, and the weapons aren't satisfying at all. Not worth your time unless you're really desperate.

I watched a friend of mine play a demo for this game and some years later ran across a review of this game, The concept of fighting werewolves, Griffons, and other Mythological beasts sounded cool so i bought it, honestly this game wasnt as cool or as fun as i thought it would be. Don't get me wrong it was okay, beheading a werewolf with an axe or taking down a griffon with a rocket launcher was mildly satisfying but it could have been better I got it for dirt cheap though so I can't complain much

Arrived in good condition

Worked perfectly, was wrapped in the plastic and was practically brand new. However you have to “sign” when playing. The games servers are permanently down and it won’t save your progress. Would recommend it on the computer but it’s somehow worse on there. Blame the game not the seller.

tja. was soll ich über das Game sagen! Legendary muss gut sein.ich kannte ja das Spiel noch nicht, und deswegen habe ich das Spiel bestellt. das Spiel ist zwar schon ein alter Hase,aber bestimmt Cool.,weil man ja gegen die Gegner aus der Mythologie zu tun hat. Genial!
