The spektrum dongle does in fact work with their program. **Q: Will this work with a dx8e and phoenix r/c software?** A: This USB dongle will not work on its own with the Phoenix simulator. The now discontinued Phoenix simulator still requires a USB dongle able to mate with the proprietary code in Phoenix. The Spektrum WS1000 and WS2000 USB dongle do not have the capability to mate with the Phoenix simulator proprietary code.
